Lee pushed through the crowd to see what the big commotion was about, everyone seemed so interested in what just happened in the middle of the Dorp.
Finally he managed to break through and he saw what everyone was looking at, it was actually very interesting now that he knew what it was - well to be fair he didn't know what it was but that's what made it interesting.
"Poke it" Johnny - a very scrawny and dirty kid - dared the strongest boy of the group.
The strongest boy happened to be Lee's best friend, Thomas, although he wasn't very strong he was still the strongest based off the group around so of course; Thomas walked closer slowly before nudging the Thing on the ground with the tip of his boot.
Everyone stepped back when suddenly the Thing moved.
"Oh god it's alive" a red headed girl with many freckles muttered before moving behind Lee who didn't really shield her because he was as big as a stick bug.
"What is it?" Johnny asked as he peered over someone's shoulder to see the Thing but not to be anywhere near it.
"No idea..." Thomas hesitated before squatting next to the Thing.
Someone passed a stick to him and he took one end of it before using the other end to move the long hair of the Thing so that everyone could see it's face.
"It's just a girl..." Lee said without meaning to and everyone leaned in for a better look.
"Where'd she come from?"
"Is she dead?"
"Is she sleeping?"
"Who is she?"
"She's pretty"
Thomas put the stick down before rolling the girl on her back, her arm fell to her side and Lee made sure it was safe before squatting next to Thomas.
"Have you ever seen her before?" Lee whispered and Thomas shook his head.
"No... never..." Thomas whispered back and they glanced at each other before looking at the girl.
"Check her number" the redheaded girl suggested and Lee reached down before moving the girls hair, her hair must have been longer then she was tall.
"65819." Thomas read and then Lee quickly dropped the girls arm before standing up.
"We have to turn her in." Lee stated and Thomas looked at him as he stood up.
"She could be injured, we have to take care of her before we just hand her over" Thomas said as if it was the right thing to do.
"Thomas, I don't like this. We should just turn her in and forget about her." Lee whispered impatiently.
"What's your problem with her? We haven't even found out who she is yet" Thomas whispered before carefully picking the girl up into his arms, she looked small compared to him but she couldn't be that much younger then Lee.
"Where are you taking her?" Johnny asked as he stepped forward.
"To the hospital. Just so we can find out if she's actually alive or not." Thomas lied and Lee looked around nervously before quickly following Thomas.
"Thomas," Lee said and Thomas sighed before they both stopped.
"What? I get that you think we should turn her in. Is there something else?" Thomas asked impatiently as he continued to hold the girl.
"Her number is 65819." Lee said quietly and Thomas shrugged.
"Cool." Thomas rolled his eyes and Lee quickly stopped him again.
