Nancy and Payal set the table, as Arnav ordered to Khushi to sit down, now that her cooking was over.

Khushi sighed, and dropped into the loveseat beside him, as he made space for her, moving to the handrest.

"It's just so nice to see you both together." Anjali smiled. "Didn't I tell you, Khushi? All my brother needs is patience. Thank you, for holding on to him."

"I couldn't not. I love this stupid man." Khushi smiled at him.

The elders smiled, biting their lips at the memory of Khushi defending Arnav to them on the fateful night they had discovered who he was.

"I'm stupid? What does that make you, Mrs Raizada?" Arnav teased.

"Also stupid." She admitted.

"It's like seeing a different man," Aman said. He had joined them halfway through Khushi's cooking spree, so Khushi hadn't had a chance to talk to him yet. "Have you stopped yelling at odd times then?"

"Well, you are more than covering up for me." Arnav smiled.

Aman smirked. "You deserved that."

Arnav scratched his head. "I did, yes. Should've thought through."

Aman shook his head. "No worries. I got your back."

"Let's talk on that later?" Arnav asked.

"Sure. So, Bhabhi, what's on the menu?"

"Well, Babuji's favorite Aloo Methi, Arnav's Chhole Puri and Buaji's favorite dessert." She winked at Buaji.

"You made halwa? Carrot halwa?"

Khushi nodded.

"When did you learn to make that?"

"Arnav likes it. Of course, for him I make it sugarless. Yes, I made you a separate bowl. Stop looking at me with those puppy eyes."

Akash snorted.

"And for you, Jijaji, I made it extra sweet. Jiji thought you needed it." Khushi smiled, taunting him. Payal had mentioned that she had been blindsided when Akash had ordered her to be fine with their family staying in a hotel for the night.

"Extra sweet? Why?" Amma asked.

"Jiji would know. Had to make three bowls, but it's fine. Not like I'm going to cook for you all everyday."

"Why not? What if I like the food too much?" Anjali teased.

"Well, Di. AR has been challenged by Aspire now. If I spend all my time in the kitchen, who will give them a fitting reply?"

"You don't need to bother about that." Anjali waved her hand. "Chhote can handle it. You need to focus on resting and taking care of the child growing inside of you."

Khushi's eyebrows went up.

"What?" Anjali asked.

"Children." Arnav said, before Khushi could blast on his sister.

"Children? Multiple?"

"We're having twins, Di. Just look at her. She keeps growing bigger."

Anjali gaped. "Twins? Wow, that's amazing!"

"Khushi, you should take some time off. Taking care of two kids is no joke." Babuji said, rationally. From the moment he had heard Khushi needed rest, privacy, something had been bugging him. It wasn't like his daughter to not be vocal about things. Yet, here she was, keeping mum about the fact that she was carrying twins. She should be jumping with joy. So, he thought to address it. "You need to find a rhythm to lead your life once they enter this world."
