The Aftermath

It had been five months since the camp fought against Kronos. It seemed like everything was back to normal. Except for one thing some of the campers had changed. Percy especially, the other campers had become quieter or more reserved. But Percy had become angrier and quick tempered. He hated talking about the Gods and when someone brought them up he would leave or yell.
There was also the problem of his eye. No one really knows exactly how it happened not even him. But all we know is that he came back with a cut across his eye. His eye was also now red which doesn't make sense. Your eye color doesn't just change like that. There's also the fact that the cut never seems to heal. It is always black and looks like it's ripped open. When he uses his powers it almost seems like it gets darker, and his eye also glows bright red.
He barely hangs out with the campers anymore. He doesn't even talk to Annabeth much either. He instead talks to some other kid he met during the battle. Leo. He was a kid of Hephaestus and could use pyrokinesis. That made campers avoid him, except of course Percy and Nico. It seemed like they were always up to something. Especially when they were with Thalia, because of how they look. They all look like they only know hate. They must have their reasons but it becomes worrying to the other campers.
"And this is why we have sentenced Percy Jackson, Leo Valdez, Nico Di Angelo, and Thalia Grace to be sentenced to exile. You will no longer make this camp an unsafe place."
Zeus had said. It almost seemed like Percys eyes had darkened. He stormed out of the council room. Grabbed his friends and left immediately. Not even saying goodbye to his girlfriend. The only thing she had left were the beads from his camp necklace. This ended up being the worst mistake the Gods would ever make.
