Omori's Pov:

Welcome to white space

you have been living here for as long as you can remember

I woke up to the same endless white walls. Mewo on the floor along with my computer, sketchbook, and a tissue box which I never seemed to use. The same useless black lightbulb hanging on the ceiling. With a sigh, I get up and grab my knife, pet Mewo and with the turn of a doorknob, I walk into the next room where Aubrey, Kel, and Hero live.

"Omori! you're back! I missed you!" Aubrey exclaimed jumping up from where she was sitting. Aubrey could sometimes be a bit much at times, Kel too, but they're my friends so, naturally, I put up with it.

After a good minute or so of talking we all walk out of the strange room and out of the tree trunk. We walked to the picnic basket where I saw Mari and y/n talking. Y/n is an amazing (boy/girl/person etc) I met a few years ago. y/p been there for me and has even helped me calm down when I needed to.

"oh hey Omori! how are you feeling today?" y/n asked, smiling at me. Mari turned towards me upon hearing y/p saying this and smiled at me too, getting up and hugging me. With her usual words about how she was worried and that I needed to stop disappearing, she sat back down. Everyone ran past me and sat down on the picnic blanket as well, I walked over and sat next to y/n. y/p sat there smiling, watching as everyone else was having fun, talking, and eating.

I looked at y/p silently, y/n was always and will forever be the pretty type. Of course, y/p had y/p flaws but it was just another thing that seemed to make y/p amazing. Of course, y/p loved y/p flaws and embraced them even. It made y/p even more special.

y/p looked back at me.

"Hey, Omori! do you have anything planned for the day?" y/p smiled, making me smile back. I nodded my head and took a sandwich out of Mari's picnic basket, taking small bites and enjoying the flavors that roamed in my mouth. I took a second to relax, I was in my happy place, breathing in the fresh air, surrounded by my closest friends, eating food that my sister made, what more could I ask?

I finished my sandwich and ended up being forced into hide-and-seek with everyone, it wasn't that bad but it's still not my cup of tea. When the game ended, we all walked back to the picnic blanket and sat down, who knew staying hidden was so exhausting. I mean I think part of it might come from the adrenaline that you get waiting for the simple few words.

"I found you ___!"

I sighed and plopped down next to y/n again.

"Are you tired? me too!" she laughed. "Maybe it's time for a break... I mean that was very tiring don't you think" I nodded at y/p statement. I felt my eyes starting to droop and my head dropping onto y/n's shoulder, and soon I was out.

Your Pov <3:

I looked down at Omori who was sleeping. He's probably the most peaceful sleeper I've ever seen, it's nice to know someone around here knows how to relax! I felt a smile grow onto my face as well as a content feeling bubble up into my stomach. Everything was fine, everything was perfect.

And so I sat there trying not to fall asleep, Omori's head on my shoulder. It was nice if I'm honest, I may not get many words out of him, but he still manages to let me know how he's feeling, or even like now, how he's comfortable around me.

I carefully lean back onto the blanket, making sure Omori's head sat on the blanket as mine was too. I took a second to look at the sky. The sky was a perfect shade of purple, and the shapes in the sky all seemed to perfectly connect. I sometimes wonder how there are constellations of tables up there, or are they actual tables just really close to this planet? who knows

I start to feel myself doze off, my eyes closing. It was a tiring day so maybe sleeping wasn't a bad idea. Without resistance I let myself drift into sleep, maybe we can stay like this for a little longer.
