3rd Person POV:
All the teenagers gathered around in the locker room, talking amongst each other and pulling carefully wrapped gifts out of their lockers.
"Hey!" (Y/N) waves to Nathaniel, running a little late this morning, beginning to put her things in her locker.
"Let me guess, you just finished your gift?" Nathaniel smiles.
"I just hope Mrs. Bustier likes it." (Y/N) shrugs, pretending as if Nathaniel wasn't correct in his assumption. "What'd you make her?"
"I painted her as a superhero because she's always there for us." Nathaniel shows (Y/N) his painting.
"I'm giving her a braid of hair to thank her for her breathing class. It helps me be less afraid of akumas." Mylené says, coming to say hello to the girl.
Soon after, everyone begins pitching in and explaining their different gifts and the reason behind them.
"Compared to those other gifts.. mine's going to be super lame.." Marinette whispers to Alya.
"Don't worry, Marinette. There's no pressure. It's not a competition." (Y/N) says, hearing the girl anyway.
"What about you, (Y/N)? I'm sure you've come up with something awesome as usual." Adrien asks, placing an arm around her shoulder, giving her a side hug of sorts.
"It's only something small. I made her a collection of lip balm since she likes them in different flavors. It ranges from strawberry to grape, to pineapple, all the sorts. They're all sweet flavors because she's the sweetest teacher!" (Y/N) explains. "I also made it so that their all in her favorite color so that she's always surprised by what flavor she gets."
The class awes at her.
"What about you, Marinette?" Nino asks.
"If we wish to change the world, we must all learn to love each other. That's one of the first things Mrs. Bustier taught us when we first met her at school." Marinette shows everyone the quote she stitched onto a purse she made. "I always keep it in mind."
Chloe subtly shoves her locker closed, staring down the bluenette.
"Now that I think about it, Mrs. Bustier is probably the reason we all get along so awesomely." Alya says.
"I'm so lucky to have a teacher like her for my first year at school." Adrien says, "How about you, Chloe? What's your present?"
Chloe is silent for a minute. An ashamed look crosses her face.
"Nothing," Marinette scoffs, "Just like every year since kindergarten."
Chloe glares at Marinette, still not saying anything.
"It's not her fault, okay!" Sabrina defends her, "Chloe just doesn't like birthdays. Chloe never remembers them. Just like her mom."
(Y/N)'s eyes widen.
Chloe scoffs at Sabrina, but gently placed a hand on her shoulder. "Yeah, well, you didn't need to tell them my life story, either. Anyway, all that stuff about complements and love is ridiculous... utterly ridiculous."
"This girl has no heart." Marinette loudly whispers to Alya.
"Of course I have a heart! Daddy will even buy me a second one if I want." Chloe crosses her arms, defensively.
