Carl was gone by the time I woke up. The bed sheets were strewn against the wall except for one, which was wrapped around my body.

Beth walked past the cell, and then paused and walked back.

"Why are you in your own cell?"

"Me and Carl made up." I said, yawning and was about to get out of bed until I realized I was completely naked.

I wrapped the sheets around me tighter.

"Oh my word, are you naked!?" She said

"What? No!"

"Then take the blanket off."

I turned red. "No.."

She folded her arms and raised an eyebrow. "I can't believe you. You forgive him after that!? That easily.. And then you have sex with him!?"

"It's not like that Beth!"

"Oh but it is.. You were crying your eyes out yesterday, your heart was broken. He BROKE YOUR HEART! And you just forgive him that easily!"

"Beth-"

"Don't. I can't believe you right now. He's going to keep thinking its okay to hurt you because he knows you'll just forgive him and then fuck him again."

I shot out of bed, and got dressed with her standing right there. I didn't really care, I loved Beth.

"Beth you aren't understanding.. I love him." I said, fully clothed, hair brushed and teeth cleaned.

"I can't see him hurt you again! I can't!"
Her eyes were starting to turn puffy

"Beth I love him."

"YOU FORGAVE HIM WHILE HE LEFT YOU LYIN IN THAT BED ALONE! HE MADE OUT WITH HER WHILE YOU WERE DYIN! YOU KNOW THAT HE NEVER CAME TO SEE YOU.. NOT ONCE! ONLY THE FIRST 3 DAYS." She screamed angrily

I was in pure shock. He never came to see me..

"Beth I don't need you getting into my love life. Just because you don't have one doesn't mean you cant get all up in mine!" I yelled, not even meaning to say it.. I was just so mad at Carl and everyone.. That I said a complete lie to my best friend. Her and Chris were dating but they weren't very lovey dovey yet.

"You.. You... You asshole!" She spat, walking over and slapping me in the face

I fell over, into the nightstand.

My face burned but my heart hurt worse.

What had I done?

I stood up, "what the hell!?" And I hit her on the shoulder

She grabbed my hair, and I grabbed a handful of her soft blonde curls and we tugged, walking out of the cell, I couldn't see where we were going because we were clawing at each other

"What the hell??" Chris yelled coming over and grabbing Beth from me as Carl grabbed me

We tried grabbing at each other, but couldn't move because we were grasped by the boys.

"You're a horrible person!" She yelled at me, crying.

"Takes one to know one!!"

"You think you're so fragile.. And sweet because you saved Ricks life.. But all you are is a bitch Jade! You are a bitch!" She screamed

Tears were falling from both of our faces.

"What's going on?" Carl said

"Oh like you don't know.." Beth said between gritted teeth
