Prompt: Maya and Carina are new to Seattle and happily married. Maya is the Captain at Station 19 and Carina is the Head of OB/GYN at Grey-Sloan Memorial. Maya's normal silicone ring broke before they moved and Carina wanted to get it replaced with a special silicone one so it would be a few months before it would get here. No one from the hospital or station knew they were married to each other since Carina always wears rings so no one thought the thicker one on her ring finger was any different. Carina agreed to play a prank on Jack as he has been raving about an Italian goddess that he saw at the hospital. Hope you enjoy!

"Honey, do you know when my silicone ring will be in? I don't like going to work without something on to let people know I'm married to you." Maya said as she pouted, shouting from the other room. "Hopefully soon, bella. Are you driving me to work or are you running again today?" Carina asks as she shouts as well. Maya spent all the days running to work since she has started at Station 19 3 weeks ago.

"I think I want to drive you to work today. I'm sorry I haven't done that. I just wanted to make a good impression on the team. Running to work promotes physical well-being, but I think it's time to bring my beautiful wife to work. You're out at the same time as me tomorrow right?" Maya asks of Carina as she walks into their bedroom where Carina is.

"I get it, bambina. It's okay. And yes, we will be out at the same time. Maybe we can go to our favorite Italian bakery when we are finished." Carina said hopefully, looking with her big eyes at her wife. She seemingly trying to convince her, even though it doesn't take much for Maya to be convinced. "Honey, stop looking at me like that. I would have said yes even without the look." Maya said as she approached her wife. Maya wrapped her arms around Carina's waist and pulled her close.

Carina rested her forehead on Maya's as they enjoyed a moment of calm before having to start their days. "So do any of the doctors know we have twins yet? Or are you pretty stealth when you drop them at daycare?" Maya asks her wife.

The twins were 7 months old and somehow looked like one of each of them. "Somehow, I am pretty good at being discreet. Which isn't even my intention, no one that I have gotten along with has seen me with them or going into the daycare. I will say, I do like our little bubble. Valentina and Adrianna are our little ones, but at some point I want them to meet little Pru. Dean's daughter is so cute." Maya says as she pulls out her phone to show Carina.

"Oh she is cute. Okay, Val and Dre are ready to go when we are. I fed them and changed them into their daycare clothes." Carina said as she had her arms around her wife's neck, playing with the hairs on the back of it. "You are amazing, mamma." Maya said as she looked into her wife's eyes with such pure love and admiration.

"Right back at you, mommy." Carina counters and leans in to give her wife a chaste kiss. "I'm ready if you are." Carina says as she lets go of Maya. "I'm ready." Maya says as she grabs her back and Carina's before they make their way into the living room where they girls are in their seats.

"Oh look at my little princesses. Are you ready for day care?" Maya asks them as she tickles their bellies. The little girls giggle as Maya grabs her coffee off the counter. "Okay, you grab bags and coffees." Maya says, putting the bags down and coffee. "I'll grab the diaper bag and babies. Who knew two babies would involve so many bags?" Maya says with a chuckle as did Carina.

"Okay, we are out the door." Carina says as they make their way out of the house and into the Porsche. Maya makes herself comfortable after she finishes getting Val into the car as Carina did the same with Dre.

They start their journey to Grey-Sloan, which was about 15 minutes away. "Thank you for moving to Seattle with me, bambina. I wanted to be closer to Andrea, but I know he loves having his nieces close." Carina said randomly as they were getting close. "You don't have to thank me, Carina. I am happy as long as I am with you and the girls." Maya says as she pulls up to the front of Grey-Sloan.
