Maya stands up on the roof of Station 19 after her fight with Carina. Maybe she was right, Carina shouldn't have a child with 'that.' Carina deserved more than she was giving her.

She has been miserable for six months because of work and it was her own fault. Everyone always says they're a family and they stick together, but what about her? Where is everyone when she needed them? No one cared about her in her mind.

She banged things around for a few more minutes before she had enough. She moved over to the edge of the roof and climbed up. She looked down and knew it was high enough. She then looked up at the night sky, no clouds in sight. She wished she could see the clouds.

The thoughts of dying and clouds plagued her mind for the past six months, only this time she actively thought about dying and not just the idea of it. Her mind thinks that everyone would be better off. Carina would find someone better than her in no time. Carina deserved to be free of her. Free of someone who blackmailed her boss and was still getting punished for it.

Carina was light and love, everything someone deserved. Someone who was not her. She deserved to be alone, she didn't deserve to walk to this earth anymore. She walked closer to the edge and her life was playing in her head like a movie. Her happiest moments were with her brother and Carina. Wishing she knew where her brother was. Wishing she protected him more when they were younger from her father.

She stepped to the edge, looking up at the sky once more. The comfort it brought her would be that she would finally be in the clouds. Nothing would hurt anymore. No expectations on her and no more seeing people in her life hurt. Hurt by her actions, no one would need to be subjected to her hurting.

"Maya?" A word stopped her train of thought.

Meanwhile downstairs, Carina was just finishing cleaning up the supplies she used on the man from this afternoon. She was in her own head about her fight with Maya, she didn't initially see Vic come into the barn.

"Carina?" Vic said, startling Carina out of her thoughts. Carina looked into Vic's eyes and she looked troubled. "What can I do for you, Victoria?" Carina asked. "Can you come up to the roof with me?" Vic says as calmly as possible. "If my wife is still up there, I would rather not. I need some space from her right now." Carina scoffed after she finished.

"She is, but she needs you right now." Vic says, trying to convince her. "She can figure it out herself. She's been making these decisions without me. She does not need me, Victoria." Carina says with a scowl to Vic. The hormones still raging through her. "I understand you are upset with her for some reason that I do not know, but right now you need to stop and listen." Vic says firmly.

"No Victoria. You listen, my wife has blackmailed the chief into giving her job back because she knows the chief and Sullivan are sleeping together. But with no concrete proof of that, she has committed a crime. So now she is being punished for it and still expects me to be on her side. I am not thinking straight and need time to think. I cannot be here anymore." Carina says as she moves to leave, but is blocked by Vic.

"Victoria, move. I don't want to be here anymore." Carina says, on the verge of angry tears. "Carina, stop. You need to listen." Vic says as calmly and firmly as possible. "We will get to the bottom of everything you just told me soon. Right now, we need to go to the roof. Please, Maya truly needs you." Vic says as she directs her up the stairs.

They do not talk on the way up there, but can start to faintly hear Theo's voice as they approach the slightly opened door. "Tell me your favorite thing you like to do when you're not here." Theo says to Maya who isn't really focused on anything except the stars.
