I notice some readers don't understand how "mating mark" work or the meaning of it. So I'm here to explain the definition and function of mating mark in MY AU!

WHAT IS MATING MARK?
~ Mating mark is when a male bites a female's shoulder/neck to mark her as a mate.
~ Mating mark system only exists among supernatural creature such as werewolf, vampire , demon and etc.
~ In MY AU, female or women is more superior in Y/n's clan. Therefore, Alpha is only born among the females.
~ The female Alpha marks her mate as a way to symbolize he is already taken by / betrothed to her.
WHAT IS THE FUNCTION OF MATING MARK?
~ Mating mark is done so two creature can become magically bonded mates.
~ Mating mark exists to show to other creatures that the mate is already claimed/taken/betrothed to their partner.
~ Mating mark is also done to complete half of the bond.
~ Once marked, forever together.
~ Mate, after all, is one's destined and fated love.
HOW CAN ONE FIND THEIR MATE?
~ Feeling drawn to find a particular presence or someone even though they have never met each other.
~ Strong attraction toward each other.
~ Electric shock coursing in their body when they make physical contact with their mate.
~ Powerful sexual attraction.
