We pulled into the doctor office parking lot, the click of the transmission entering into park. I sat in the passengers seat and looked at Jax. We hadn't decided yet, and the look on his face when I told him. Wasn't one I expected.

"I'm pregnant," Jax expression turned from excitement about Tuppen to confusion in an instant.
"Wait what do you mean? I thought you couldn't have kids?" I shrugged, knowing my body rejected the last one. They had told me the same thing.
"Yeah I'm as shocked as you are," he stared off into space. Like he couldn't comprehend what I had just told him.
"You're not kidding hey?" My eyes met his and it was worry running through his eyes.
"No Jax I'm not," I told him, the words coming out harsher then I meant.
We were still standing in the parking lot of the hospital, and the people walking out were taking glances our way.
"Come on, let's just go home," he grabbed my shoulder gingerly and guided me to the truck. He obviously noticed my discomfort. He opened the passenger door of the truck and kissed my check.
"We will figure it out," I smiled at him weakly, but this time wasn't the same as when I found out I was pregnant the first time. The first time was full of excitement. This time it was shock and worry. Would he even want to have another kid? Was the two he already had already enough? Could I handle three kids? Two of which were not mine.

"Hey?" Jax snapped me out of my thoughts, "you okay?" I nodded and proceeded to pull my shoulder bag to my lap from off the truck floor.
"M?" Jax stopped me as I went to open the door. Slumming back into the chair, I sighed.
"You don't want this baby, do you?" I asked him, this question had been on my mind since we found out about the pregnancy. And that was the whole reason, I wish this wasn't happening. He ran a hand through his hair and scratched his beard.
"M, it's not that I don't want the baby," I could feel a but about to happen, then his phone rang. He pulled it out of his pocket and cursed under his breath.
"It's Bobby, you know he doesn't call me unless it's important," he pleaded with me and I nodded. Placing my hand on the door and getting out.
"I'm going to be late, come join us when you're done with your call,"  he nodded and flipped his phone open. Shutting the door, my chest felt tight and like this wasn't how it was supposed to be. It wasn't all fun in games anymore, we were having a baby that could potentially kill me and we had two other boys at home. And I was going into my appointment alone.

Walking into the doctors office, a short red haired lady sat behind the desk. Her curly hair being held up by to barrettes.
"Hi, I'm Mira Fuller, I have an appointment this morning," the lady scrolled through the computer screen
"Ah yes, Doctor Horsemen is ready for you. Follow me this way," she scooted her chair back, the wheels screeching. As she rounded the counter, I adjusted my bag,
"You're husband not joining you?" My hurt ached,
"Uh he had to make a phone call, he should be inside in a few minutes." Although I wasn't holding my breathe. I did love Jax very much but I also knew how hard it is to love a member of SAMCRO. The lady nodded, a small look of pity on her face.
I entered an exam room, it was small but like your typical doctors office. A small tanned woman, with short blonde hair sat in a rolling chair.
"Hello Ms. Fuller, please have a seat." She had a chart in her hand, most likely the one from the hospital.
We talked about many things, she pulled blood and ran some basic tests. Trying to find any abnormalities in my pregnancy.
"Well you're healthy, so is the baby, have you and your husband decided on what you would like to do?" She asked me gingerly. Jax still hadn't made an appearance in the appointment. And it had already been 25 minutes. I knew he wasn't coming.
"I'm on the edge. I want this baby so bad, but I'm not in the greatest position and my health concerns me. I can't go through the same thing again," she understood what I was saying.
"Look I'm going to cut the shit," I was a little taken back by the doctors abruptness but I let her continue. "I know the father of your child is Jax Teller. And I can't make the decision for you. But I was a close friend to his ex wife. And I don't know if you understand what you're getting into,My mind started raising questions.
"Does another child need to be raised around this chaos? "
Then I recognized the name, this was one of the doctors that had worked with Tara. I smiled back her.
"You read my mind Doc," she wrote some stuff down on a note pad.
"If you decide to keep it, this is some information on prenatal care. In the end it is your choice. Just be careful okay?" She smiled weakly, "I have no doubts that this pregnancy will succeed to full term." And with that I knew I didn't have much time to decide.

Walking out of the hospital, everything was on my mind. But the truck wasn't in the parking lot, Jax must have had an important call. I sighed as I headed for the sidewalk. I had a long walk back to the T/M. And it was too far to walk back to the house. My phone vibrated in my pocket, fishing it out of my jeans. The screen read "Jax" in bright white letters. I shoved it back in my pocket, trying to suppress the rage I felt.  He couldn't have spared half an hour, and this was the internal battle I was facing. Did I want to be stuck to this life forever? No matter how much I loved Jax. No matter how much I wanted to be a mom.

Entering the shop yard, a dozen bikes I didn't recognize lined up. I however I did recognize Alverez of the Mayan's sitting amongst a bunch of guys. Walking towards the club house. Only Gemma and Chucky were there. Gemma was talking with Alverez, stating the men would be back any minute. Something didn't feel right. Meeting up with Gemma, I stood by her side. The dozen men watching us, whispers started around us. A prospect mumbling something to another. But something about this prospect triggered a memory, that I couldn't put an image too. He was oddly familiar. His tough stature, and facial hair made him seem more angry.
"Ah Miss Mira, it's been a while," Alverez spoke snuffing out a cigar under his boot.
"That it has, to what do we owe the pleasure of this visit?" I asked looking at the dozen of faces all waiting for what are conversation will bring.
"It's been a while since we've been north. And we've been having some issues with some heathens." I knew he wouldn't share much.
"I'm assuming it has to do with why Jax had to leave so suddenly?" I spoke and Alverez nodded his head.
"I think the same heathens threaten your club as well yes," as if on cue, bikes roared into the shop.
