The team was just getting back from a case.

This case was particularly hard for some people, which is Spencer. The case was about an teenage unsub who was getting revenge in his bullys.

And Spencer related to him

Poor Spencer growing up a prodigy, he got bullied, relentlessly. He's told me lots of stories about his childhood and how bad he had it.

I just listened as he ranted about how unfair it was. I had it lucky though. I didn't really get bullied, I wasn't popular though. I was just there.

As the team got on the jet, I decided to sit next to Spencer. Spencer and I have been good friends since I started to work at the bau. He's always been welcoming and I happen to develop a small crush on the boy.

But, I wouldn't ruin our friendship because of it

Spencer was reading his book, as always, on the couch. I walked over and sat next to him. He looked up as I smiled at him.

He did a tight lip smile and looked back down at his book again. I remember what I came over for so I started to talk,

"Hey Spence, I know that this case was hard, especially for you, so if you wanna talk at my place after work, you're more than welcome to come over." I said quietly.

He smiled and said, "thanks for the offer." And went back to reading. I took that as my cue to leave.

I honestly didn't expect him to show up but I thought it might be nice to ask.

Time skip

Right after paper work, I really wanted to head home. It's been a exhausting day so far and I wanted to get some sleep.

I got in my car and sped towards my house. I got to my door when my phone rang. I looked at it and picked it up.

"Hello." I said. A little bit of silence came before his voice was heard

"Hey... it's Spencer, I was wondering if I could come over?" He asked. I smiled.

"Of course, whatever you wanna do." I told him. I heard a sigh as he thanked me then hung up.

I walked inside and placed my things of the kitchen counter. I wanted to get my stuff ready so what ever happens I'm prepared.

About ten minutes later, I heard a knock on my door. I walked over and looked through the pep hole. I saw that Spencer was standing there, antsy.

I opened the door and smiled. I saw his nerves lessen a bit as he saw me.

"Hey." I said.

"Hi." He replied and did a tight lip smile. I moved out of the way as Spencer walked in. He looked around as he made his way towards my couch.

Spencers been in my apartment all the time, I don't know why he's looking around but it's been a while.

I walked over and sat down next to him. He smiled shyly as I rested my hand next to his. I held on to his hand as I smiled to him.

I could tell he was anxious, but why would he be?

"You can talk to me if you want, or we could just sit in silence. Or do a movie night Marathon?" I asked. He smiled but after a second he spoke.
