First of all, hello. This is my first time actually publishing a story. I'm the author and this'll probably the only time you get a page long author's note. (they'll usually be at the bottom of the chapter page)Second, the first chapter (the part after Steve walks Aubrey to meet everyone) maybe be similar to another story.
