You returned to reality when you heard Miss Park's order to your classmates. Su-Hyeok, On-Jo, and I-Sak take her to the infirmary, leaving the others to speculate about the recent incidents. You glance at Nam-Ra, approach her, and tap her shoulder.

You offer her chocolate, which she accepts. "Thanks," she mumbles.

"You're welcome, Nam-Ra."

Her eyes widen slightly; it's been a long time since someone called her by name, and, surprisingly, it comes from someone who rarely speaks to anyone.

You avoid the boys, who are making various assumptions, including some inappropriate thoughts about Dae-Su. Instead, you listen to your playlist, closing your eyes to feel isolated in your own world. This moment is interrupted when Su-Hyeok shakes your shoulder, thinking you've fallen asleep. "Miss Park wants to see you and said you need to bring the blue cap?" he asks, more like a question.

You nod, understanding what she means. Everyone was puzzled about the blue cap as you put your wallet in your pocket. You place the cap on your head and glance at Hyo-Ryung and Min-Ji before heading to the infirmary. As you leave, the class becomes noisy again.

"Why does she look so good in the cap and black jacket?" Gyeong-Su sighs.

"Y/n is already hot," Wu-Jin says, realizing he's exposed himself.

"She's both brain and brawn. My type," Joon-Yeong adds dreamily.

"I smell competition," Dae-Su remarks. "Think about it: you three like her, and one day she'll have to choose one of you. Or worse, she might pick someone else."

They stare at him blankly, irritated. The question remains: who will you choose? They know you're too stressed to even think about love, and your obliviousness annoys them.

"Anyway, Min-Ji, you're her best friend, right? Do you know what she likes?" Wu-Jin asks.

"Like what?" Min-Ji replies, giggling quietly with Hyo-Ryung.

"Favorite food?"

"Favorite place to date?"

"Favorite story genre?"

""Aigoo, Joon-Yeong. Are you planning to ask her out in the library or what?" Dae Su chimed in.

"Calm down... I won't share details since it's classified. Only Ji Min, Hyo-Ryung, and I are aware of it."

The boys groaned while Cheong-San glanced at On-Jo's empty seat, concerned for her well-being.

Meanwhile, you spotted Miss Park waiting and hurried towards her. She grabbed your hand and led you to the science lab. You didn't ask questions until you saw a group of police officers awaiting you. "Are you Miss Y/n L/n?" one asked.

"Yes," you replied simply.

"I'm Detective Song Jae-Ik," he said, offering his hand to shake. You shook it politely. "Your teacher informed us you've been training with National Intelligence Security since last year. You're the youngest officer they've trained, right?"

"Yes," you confirmed, showing him your NIS card.

"Hyosan Police Station needs your assistance with an investigation since you're familiar with your school." You followed him to the crime scene in the lab, where forensics were at work. You donned a glove and helped as best you could. Blood stained the radiator, and a rope was tied there.

On the table, you noticed a drug called benzodiazepines and an injector. You recalled her mention of being shot by Mr. Lee, leading you to suspect this was the drug involved. But why? Was she seizing? A clanging sound from the floor caught your attention as one officer moved closer. "Should I open it for you?"
