Chapter 8

POV-Leah

I was sleeping so peacefully this morning but then my BFFs came in. They woke me up they were sreaming at me to get up. I just put the pillow over my head. "Come on Leah where hungry its 12 am already lets go eat" Sammy said. I turned to her "No i dont wanna get up yet. Give me ten more minutes" i said. "No your getting up know" both Sammy and Rachel said.

"Ughh fine let me change" i said. "Okay but if ur not down in 20 minutes were coming to get u" Sammy said as she walked out the door. I got up nd went to the bathroom Ughh i like terrible. My hair is all over the place and i forgot to take my make up off last night so its all over my face. Umm i need a shower. I took my phone out to text. I had about 30 messages and 10 missed calls from Zander. He was asking me if i was okay. He wanted to meet up and talk about us. Ill reply to him later right now i gotta text Rachel.

Me~ im gonna take a shower distract Sammy for a bit so i can get ready.

Rachel~ Okay love

Me~ Thanks babe be down in a bit

I put my phone down and went to take a shower. I was out in 10 minutes i knew i couldn't take my time because Sammy would start complaining. It was hot out so i put on some blue denim shorts and blue tanktop. I straitened my hair and put on mascara and lip gloss. Its not like I'm gonna go all out I'm just gonna have a chill day with Sammy and Rachel.

I ran down stairs and saw Sammy and Rachel lauging at a video. "What are you guys laughing at" i said. They bith jumped when i talked i guess i startled them. "Nothing" they both said at the same time. That kinda made me suspicious so i ran and took Rachels phone away to see what they were laughing at. "Omg are you guys serious i thought you deleted this already" i said. Rachel looked at me and started laughing "I just couldn't delete it its so funny" she said. "Okay whatever" i said as i walked to the door with them on my tail.

The video they had is a video of me crying. I was watching desperate housewifes and i started to cry when Mike died. The video is pretty funny I'm like seriously braking down in the video i cant stop talking about how Mike was such a great man and he deserved a better death. I was saying that i was gonna shot the man that shot him and why would someone do that to Mike. Its a pretty funny video.

We got in my car and drove to a diner to go eat. Good thing breakfast time is over because i hate breakfast. I just really want a hamburger rught now.

We went and sat down. Rachel and Sammy were telling me about everything thats been going on in NY while I've been gone. Apparently theres been a lot of drama in my old school. Sammy got in a fight with a girl after school because the girl was talking crap about me. I laughed at this because the girls should've been smarter i mean everyone knows that you dont talk crap about any of us especially in front of one of us because we will get pissed. Sammy and me are worst then Rachel we actually fight. Rachel doesnt shes more calm but if u get her angry all i can say is run. She can be pretty scary. Ive seen her go of on someone before. Even i was scared when i saw her go off on a girl.

"Hey my name is Cindy and I'm your watriss for today. Are you guys ready to order" i hear someone say. The girl startled me when she talked i was so deep in thought. Sammy and Rachel ordered. Then i ordered a hamburger fries and a large drink coca cola of course. I hate Pepsi nothing against it its just that i think its a wannabe version of coca cola.

Sammy and Rachel were arguing about something. I have no idea what i wasn't paying attention. I cant stop thinking about Zander and all that has happened. I really dont know if i should text him now. I mean i know its childish for me to ignore him just because I'm scared if what i feel for him. Ive just always been the type of person that doesn't let people in and im scared of what i feel for Zander. He's gotten so close to me in so little time. Not to mention the fact that I'm gonna turn into a wolf in less then a month. Im almost gonna be 18 and on my birthday I'm turning. Ive been talking to my mom more about werewolf's. My mom actually went to the pack house today to talk to the Alpha so we can arrange a day for me to meet him. That way ill at least know my Alpha when i turn. My mom said my first time turning is gonna be pretty painful so totally looking forward to that notice the sarcasm.

"Leah are you even listening to me" Sammy ask. "Umm sorry i was lost for a moment" i said. "Okay really tell us whats on your mind already" Rachel says. "Umm well ive just been thinking of Zander a lot he texted me nd he wants to meet up to talk about what happened. I just don't know what to do right now" i said. Rachel and Sammy both looked at me. "Look love i think you should really talk to him. He deserves to know if your into him or not don't just string him along" Rachel said. "Yeah and i can tell you like him or else why would you be thinking of him so much. I say you give him a chance go on more dates with him" Sammy said. "You know what you guys are right ill text him right now" i said.

I took my phone out and saw i had more messages from him. He sounded pretty worried. He left me a voicemail so i listened to it. "Look Leah i know maybe your mad at me for the kiss but i just wanna know if your alright. I cant think straight in till i get a answer from you. I think we need to talk about what happened" he said. I decided just to text him.

Me~ Im fine sorry for not answering ur phone calls or texts I've had my phone off.

Not even ten seconds later i got a reply.

Zander~ I've been so worried for you i stopped by your house but your step dad said you left with friends to eat.

Me~ u really stopped by my place?

I just couldnt help but ask that i thought it was so sweet that he stopped by my place. That means he cares enough to go cheek on me. You see this is why i like him so much in the little time i know him hes been so sweet. How can i not like him?

Zander~ Yeah i hope u don't mind i was just really worried

Me~ Aww u would actually go to my house to cheek on me thats so sweet(:

Zander~Yeah so do u wanna meet up to talk i have a lot to tell u

Me~ Like what?

Zander~ I'll prefer to tell u in person

Me~ Okay lets meet up Monday(:

Zander~ Okay Monday for sure

Me, Sammy, and Rachel went back home. It was pretty sunny so we ran up stairs and put on are swimsuits to go swimming. I had a black two piece. Sammy had a purple two piece and Rachel a blue two piece. We put on sunscreen then ran out side. I haven't been in the pool yet and let me tell you the pool is huge. I pushed Sammy in. She got mad and then she smiled at me and got out to hug me. Then when she was hugging me Rachel pushed us both in. Me and Sammy both came out for air. Rachel was laughing so hard she was on the floor laughing. Me and Sammy both Looked at each other. Then we cracked a smile. We ran out and Rachel got up to run but it was too late. We had already grabbed her. I got her arms and Sammy her feet. We counted to 3 then we dropped her in the pool.

We got out late then we just watched movies. I ordered pizzas for us and we drove to the nearest liquor store to get a butch of snacks. We wasted 24 dollars on snacks just for 3 people. We went to go pick the pizza up then we went home. We watched An American Crime on Netflix we all ended up crying. Sammy and Rachel both knocked out on the couch. I woke them up and they kinda sleeped walked to there room. I was laughing at Sammy i dont know what she was saying. The hole time i was trying to get her to her room she was mumbuling things.

I went in my room the light was off so it was pretty dark. Im not afraid of the dark so i went straight to my bed. I almost got there. Just as i was gonna lay down i felt someone grad me and put a hand over my mouth so i couldn't scream.

I panicked i started to kick and fight the person off. I bite there hand and they let me go thats when i was able to see there face. It was a tall man but ive never seen him before. "You bite me you bitch you'll pay for that" he said. I ran to my door but he grabbed me by my hair. I started to scream he slapped me then he injected me with something. After that it all went black.
