POV-Leah

I've been walking back and forth for 30 minutes now. I keep on going to the car then walking back to his hotel room. honestly I'm scared to knock but I know it's something I got to do if I ever want to move on and be happy with Zander.

Zander insisted to come with me but I finally convinced him to just stay in the car so here I am in front of my dad's door. here goes nothing.

Knock knock
He opens the door and looks shocked.

"Leah I didn't think you'll ever come" he says shocked. "Come in"

"I came to talk" I say.

"Please take a seat" he says. I sit and he starts talking
"I'm so happy you cam...
"Please I'm here to talk I have to say a few things" I say when he looks like he's gonna listen I start.

"The things you did and what you made me go through whereby right but I'm not here to judge you today. I'm here because I want to move on mom told me about your addiction and how you got clean and took therapy. I'm happy for you and I forgive you"

"You do? He askes

"Yes I do but I don't want a relationship with you. I don't need a dad anymore I needed one years ago and I understand that you weren't fit to be dad then. So that's why I forgive you. I hope you find happiness fall in love aging and meet the perfect person for you and have a chance to start over. Have a family and be a good dad but not to me. I need to be better for Zander and be happy with the person I love and I hope you can understand that I can't have you in my life not after all this time."

"I understand and you forgiving me is all that I could've hoped for I'm so sorry Leah and I hope your happy. I hope that you and Zander have a beautiful life and have beautiful kids I wish you the best" he says.

I just smile at him and nod and get up to leave. He stands too and when I'm walking out I turn and hug him.

"Goodbye dad"
Then I walk away.

I get home two hours later Zander insisted on me going to the mall said I had to shop of the pain what're that means. I just went because of the pretzels. They are the best. He said he couldn't come had things to do Alphas always busy.

When I got home it was all dark I walked around looking for Zander then I got to the back patio.
"Oh my god it looks so beautiful did you do this?" I ask him. (Photo on side the patio)

"Only the best for my beautiful mate" he answers.

I feel like am about to cry no one has ever don't anything like this for me and I definitely wasn't expecting it. Especially not from Zander he doesn't look like the romantic type.
"Take a seat" He says pulling out a chair I sit and start asking what is this for but he interrupts me and tells me that we need to enjoy are food or it'll get cold. We start eating and we talk and then comes the dessert cheesecake my favorite.
"How did you know I love chessecake? I ask. "Had to have your best friends tell me all your favorite dishes" he says.

When I'm half way done with my chessecake he gets up. "what are you doing?" I ask.
Then he gets on one knee and I just stare at him not knowing what to do is this what I think it is?

"Leah your the best thing that's ever happened to me and I wan you to know that your my future. I spent years waiting for you and I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful mate. Your amazing your compassionate, sweet, your weak and strong all at the same time and I know you've gone through so much and weren't always the happiest person out there. Life has been unfair to you. Which is why I'll live every day to put a smile on your face and make you laugh. I love you Leah and I want to spend the rest of my life with you and have a family with you. Will you Marry me?"

I jump into his arms crying "Yes" he put the engagement ring on me. we both smiled and kissed I know zoom not perfect and I'll never be but he loves me for me and all my flaws I love this man and can't wait start the rest of my life wit him.
