The wind whipped through his dark hair, sending it astray, air tainted with the slightest scent of campfire- It felt familiar.

Percy was shocked from his stupor by a blow to his balance, sending his stumbling back a few small steps and into the shore, swift waves capped with white foam calming to lap around his ankles. There was a spear to his throat.

Golden wood and spiked point, it looked broken, as if the point had been snapped but the shaft sharpened into a weapon anyway. He gulped. Percy was not having a good time.

It was hard enough with the amnesia, disorientation and demon snake ladies. Throwing in a goddess just made gaining his bearings even harder. His instincts had led him this far- the bay area but maybe he'd been wrong about the decision to carry a stinky hippy lady into camp- whatever camp was, now someone was trying to impale him.

The guy holding the broken-looking spear, well he didn't wear a regal cloak or medals like the girl behind him that parted the crowd, but people still moved for him. Adorning simple armour, gold shine dulled by scratches and time. His light-brown hair fell over his face and Percy felt his steely glare through narrowed eyes.

The guy growled, deep and guttural, a way that reminded Percy of his recent stay at the wolf house. Defensive- territorial.

"I don't know who you are," His voice was low, threatening with the staff's point pressing further into his neck- not enough to puncture skin, but just enough to make Percy wince. "But you brought gorgons into my home-"

"Minho, stand down." It was the girl- the leader he presumed if her assortment of military medals and obvious tenure had anything to say. That and from the way the spear guy- Minho, followed her orders, if not reluctantly.

Beside Percy, the old lady June shuffled, hobbling to step into his field of view. He wonky and rotting teeth exposed as her lips curled into a hideous smile. "Well, that was a lovely trip, Thank you, Percy Jackson. Oh, you'll have such fun here at Camp Jupiter."

[ Go to Alaska. Find Thanatos and free him.
Come back by sundown on June twenty-fourth,
or die. ]
