The year 1881

The year at that time was incredible since it was the turn of the century for everyone but it was not in a little town called Moonlight Falls. The town was founded in 1700, with its misty waterfalls, deep forests, and fog-shrouded coves, Moonlight Falls casts a charm on anyone who enters here. The town was truly mysterious and beautiful with lots of trees, a river, bridges, and a great waterfall.

But like all small towns, there sat on a great hill, a great mansion that viewed the entire town through the mist, lived a great family known as The Michaelis family.

The family is rich beyond imagination. The family was of British descent and decided to leave England to lay down more permanent roots in America.

The manor and family were known to throw wonderful grand balls and sprits that could fill a schooner's hull, being a Michaelis in Moonlight Falls meant you weren't denied anything, the entire world felt like they own it.

But in the Fall of 1881, the Michaelis family held their All hallows eve masquerade ball, the ball was gorgeous with many of the guests enjoying themselves. Not knowing tragedy was about to occur at the ball on that very night.

Many guests at the Hallows eve ball say a storm came upon the mansion, lighting, and thunder clashing above the mansion making the event of the ball horrible during the tragedy. The Mansion's owner's son had something wonderful planned for that night. Many people were wondering what surprise he had in the plan.

But when the clock struck 12 a clock at night lighting struck which surprised everyone but what came after that had everyone with horror in their eyes.

The Mansion's owner's son was seen by everyone at the ball, carrying the limb body of a dark-skinned woman, wearing a beautiful golden Victorian ball gown with silk gloves. With dried stains of blood coming from her mouth. While carrying her, all the guests noticed he had cried.

After that night, The Mansion became unbearable, many of the servants left the mansion and spread rumors about the mansion and the family. "The owner's son killed the woman." "The woman killed herself."The son and the woman were lovers." No one truly knew the story behind Michaelis's son and the dead woman he carried.

Many years later in the present day. The Michaelis family is still living in the mansion. Five members live at the mansion.

Victor Michaelis, the new owner of the house. His hair was dark brown that reaches at the top of his neck, his cool porcelain skin, and his eyes a beautiful shade of blue, it was almost hypnotic to the eye. He works as head of trade seeing everything that comes into Moonlight Falls and out.

He was quite good at convincing people to trade with the town. Oddly enough resembled his great, great uncle, the man who carried the dead golden-dressed woman who he was named after. Victor seemed like a loner compared to the rest of his family, but he is very charismatic and passionate, well-liked by his family and friends. But the people in the town wonder why Victor was a loner he never had anyone by his side.

Next, there were his twin sisters Arianna and Brianna, both lovely young women. They both shared blonde hair and a beautiful shade of blue eyes as their brother. They also have many talents, Arianna plays violin and paints.

Many people over the town have always said love is also a special talent for Arianna since she works as a couple of therapists and in the sessions, she has always left her clients with a more healthy relationship. The town's people definitely think Arianna is a miracle worker.

Brianna was not so different from her sister. She plays piano, organ, and sculpting. Brianna works from home as a party planner. She plans many gorgeous parties in the town, especially ball-like parties. Many town's people would always ask her to plan their weddings since she was keen on weddings.

The last of the Michaelis' siblings is Penelope, her hair was red and her eyes were blue-green. Penelope didn't have any talents except mixing drinks. She wasn't related to any of them because she was adopted into the family when she was a teen.

Victor, Arianna, and Brianna never thought of Penelope as their sister since she was focused on her looks, and going to lounges, and wanted the townspeople to make her feel like a queen. She didn't want to help anyone but herself.

The last member of the family is Sophie, the daughter of Victor, she shared the Michaelis' blue eyes, but instead of sharing the cool porcelain skin like the rest of her family, her skin is a warm natural beige color, and her hair is black, wavy curly. Sophie didn't like to talk much but is very observant of her surroundings.

She never knew her mother due to her death. Sadly enough Victor never talked about her with Sophie, only Arianna and Brianna did, she knew her mother's name and she was talented at singing.

Life for the Michaelis family hasn't been the same since the incident with Victor Michaelis the first. They were still known as the town founders but no one wanted to work at the mansion. The Mansion started to become filled with dust and old cobwebs. It was on a certain rainy day is where our tale shall begin.
