"Wait, you're not gonna tell Xavier about this!?" Neil said as I came out of the restroom after changing my clothes.
I placed my hand on my chest where I got shot. Of course it isn't healed yet and it's hurting like a bitch. But right now that doesn't matter. What matters is that we safe Margaret and that's all.
"No." I said bluntly as I grabbed my bag and phone.
"But-"
"Do you want to safe Margaret or not?" I looked at him.
"Yes, I do. But you have to tell Xavier." he groaned.
"Listen, Neil. She has men everywhere. We can't trust anyone right now. The two of us are the only ones that can save Margaret right now, and you know it." I looked at him straight in the eyes.
He was about to say something, but shut his mouth. He knew that I was right. He gave me a small nod and I nodded back. "We have to be careful." he said. "We're not supposed to be out of the hospital yet."
"I know." I smirked at him and pulled out my scarf. Neil frowned at me as I wrapped the scarf round my head, covering half of my face. I wore my sunglasses and applied some red lipstick.
"Where the hell did you get all that from?" he raised his eyebrow.
"Sarina put them in my bag." I answered. "Now, let's go."
We walked out of the room. I carefully looked both sides. No doctor was seen. We quickly walked down the hall and entered the elevator. Luckily only the two of us were in there. As the elevator starting going to the first floor, I called one of the guards at home. He picked up after a few rings.
"Yes ma'am?" I heard his voice.
"Are you at home?" I asked.
"Yes." he answered.
"Great. I want you to go into the house, make sure that Xavier doesn't see you, and get my car keys, along with one of Xavier's guns. Then drive my car to the hospital and I'll meet you there." I said as the elevator stopped.
Neil and I stepped out of the elevator and we walked out of he building as quickly as possible.
"But ma'am-" he tried to protest, but I cut him off.
"Do you want to lose your job?" I asked calmly.
"No ma'am." he said in a low voice.
"Good, then do as I said." and with that said, I hung up.
We stood in the parking lot, waiting for him to arrive.
"I don't think this is a good idea. You can hurt you and your baby. Don't you get it? She wants to hurt you!" I yelled at me.
"I know, Neil. I know she wants to hurt me! And I also know that if we don't get there, she can kill Margaret! She's that psycho!" I yelled back.
"Look around you, Hadley. There is no one here. We both know that the two of us won't be able to do this alone. Especially how she has men everywhere. There is no one here, Hadley. Call Xavier and tell him everything." Neil placed his hands on my shoulder.
I placed my hands on my stomach. She wants to hurt my baby. Xavier and I's baby. I can't let her do this. Neil is right. I should tell Xavier everything. I just can't risk my baby. Baby is innocent. The baby hasn't done anything. I don't wanna lose my baby. I just don't.
"You're right." I looked at Neil. "I- I have to tell Xavier everything." I breathed out.
I unlocked my phone and quickly dialed Xavier's number. Xavier immediately picked up the phone after the first ring.
