"I GOT THE JOB, I GOT THE JOB, I GOT THE JOB, I GOT THE JOB!!"I got startled and fell off the bed. My head hit the floor with a thump.
"Owww, dumbass." I rubbed my head, "I hit my head because of you."
"Well it's not my fault you were sleeping at the very edge of the bed.", she said
"Whatever." I said, still rubbing my head, even though the pain had faded a long time ago, "what happened anyway? Why were you shouting like a lunatic?"
Bad idea. Should not have asked her. "I GOT THE JOBBBBBB!" She screamed in my ear, damaging my poor ear drums for at least a few hours.
"That's nice Summer but will you please calm the fuck down? I am happy that you got the job, trust me but is the screaming really necessary?"
"OF COURSE IT IS, YOU IDIOTIC PEANUT BUTTER SANDWITCH-
"Peanut butter sandwitch?" I burst out laughing, "seriously? You couldn't find anything else in that big brain of yours?" I wheezed.
"-IT'S LITERALLY ONE OF THE BIGGEST COMPANIES IN-"
"Okay, okay. Calm down, Sum. I get it. You got the job, it's a big deal. No need to bore me with the details.
But....let's celebrate!" Now I shouted.
"Oh my god that's perfect." She jumped up, "I've even got a new dress that I have been wanting to wear for a while now.""Perfect. We'll go after I finish watching this season." And I plopped down on the bed again. Summer narrowed her eyes at me. "And which episode are you on?" "Third" I grinned.
"Oh come onnnn Emory." She drawled out, "We don't have time for this, it's already 7 pm." I paused, "it is?"
"Yes!"
"Fine fine. But I gotta go to the grocery store first real quick. Don't give me that look." I said when she narrowed her eyes at me yet again. "I have to, I don't even have a single cookie left in my house and you know I can't live without cookies."
"Ok." She sighed, "but come fast."
"Mhm"
I got off the bed, instantly missing the comfortable silky sheets of my oh so heavenly bed. I picked up my wallet, phone and keys. "Oh and before I forget, dad called. He wanted to have a family dinner day after tomorrow, Sunday. I asked why, he said and I quote, "because I miss my two little princesses." So I said yes. Is that okay for you? Or I can call him and change the date?"
"No it's fine." She said, "it's perfect actually. I wanted to tell Mr. Wilson about my job anyway."
"My dear Summer. How many times do I have to remind you to call him either dad or Anthony instead of 'Mr. Wilson'?"
"I don't know"
"I'm not even gonna try it now. Just call him whatever you want."
She smiled triumphantly. "Okay then, tell Mr. Wilson we'll be coming over on Sunday."
I, being as mature as I am, stuck my tongue out at her. "I'm going." I announced and walked out the door.

"Hi Martha." I smiled at the woman standing behind the cash register. Martha was a kind old plump lady in her late fifties. She had golden hair and warm, brown eyes. The woman is so sweet, I tell you, there is not a single bad bone in her. She always talked to all the customers very politely, even if the customers are rude. And she is always smiling. Like always. Every damn moment. I have seriously never seen her frown or anything."Hi dear." She greeted me politely. "Come for more sweets?"
Oh God bless this woman. She knows me so well. "Oh you know me so well Martha." I voiced my thoughts. "I've come for cookies and gummy bears today. I can never get enough of those things."
She smiled, "of course."
"Ok then, I'll go get my candies. See you later."
"Bye."
I continued further on my journey to find the sweet treasure.
Oh looky, gummies. Yay-
Ouch"What the hell?" I looked up and saw that I had run into a guy. And god, was that boy beautiful.
He had emerald green eyes that had a mischievous spark in them. Jet black hair, tousled, like he had just got out of bed. It suited him. He stood tall, maybe around 6'3? He looked around my age.
He was wearing a.....F.R.I.E.N.D.S hoodie? Oh noice, this guy just moved to my 'respected people list'. I mean, whoever wears friends' hoodies obviously has good taste. In everything.
Dark washed jeans and white vans. His hood was up but some of his hair were sticking out in odd directions.Oh damn, this guy is hot. And beautiful.
"Oh sorry" He started apologising, "I didn't see where I was going. You aren't hurt anywhere, right?"
"Well, apart from my heart that breaks and doesn't heel everyday a little when I watch Stefan die, I'm perfectly fine. But thanks. Wait, you aren't hurt either, right?"
"No, no"
"Ok cool"
He looked at the gummies' bag I was holding and then back at me. "You like gummies?"
"Who doesn't? And anyway, I like all chocolates and sweets. I believe in equality" I pointed out.
He nodded, "Allright. You can be on my 'respected people list'." I blinked "Wait you have that too? That's awesome. I have a 'respected people list' too. It's very important to have one according to me. And by the way, you were on mine the second I saw you in that f.r.i.e.n.d.s hoodie. I am very pleased to say you have amazing taste in tv shows, my friend."
"I'm your friend now?" He raised a perfect eyebrow. God, faces that perfect should be banned.
"Yes you are. You should be honoured. It's very hard to be my friend, since I have high expectations."
"Ok, then. If we are friends now, don't you think we should at least know each other's names?" Oh right
"Oh yeah." I held out my hand, "Emory May Wilson. Call me whatever."
He took my hand in his fairly big one "Ashton Hills. Call me whatever but I prefer Ash."
"Alright, Ash. As you wish"
"Nice to meet you gummies."
