Apollo sighed as Percy left their bed to bring a washcloth for him. The son of Poseidon was glowing from the amazing sex they had just had. Percy kissed Apollo's wrists which were red from the cuffs while cleaning his lover's mess.
Apollo leant into the touch and after Percy had cleaned him up, they cuddled on Percy's bed.
Both being tired, passed out quickly. Next day Apollo had to attend a meeting at Olympus. After setting the sun chariot on its way, Apollo prepared breakfast for the both of them. It was Percy's day off. Yes, he was majoring in pre-med and Apollo was overjoyed. He let the demigod sleep as he covered the food and left a note on the night stand,
My sweet, sweet and sweet Percy,
I am sorry for leaving you alone. Daddy dearest has called a meeting and it is mandatory for me to attend. I need to go. I miss you. Breakfast is on the table. Rise and shine!
~Your loving, Polly.
Apollo left after delivering a kiss to Percy's forehead. It still felt like a dream to him. Never in his life had he thought that Percy would ever date a broken soul like him but here he was. Apollo was very happy with his alpha but he knew that Percy wasn't his to keep. The demigod had refused immortality more than once and would never agree to accept it. This was the only thing preventing Apollo from proposing to the demigod.
The meeting ended badly with yet another quarrel between the gods. Apollo felt lightheaded from all the shouting. As soon as he stood up from his throne, his vision blurred and his knees gave away. The last thing Apollo heard before collapsing was Hermes shouting his name.
Apollo woke up to stare at a white ceiling designed with good. He knew at one it was his infirmary at Olympus. The god of Light sat up on the bed he was laying. His head was still ringing but he thought for a fraction of a second that he could hear whispering from outside. Apollo cleared his throat as loud as he could. The whispering stopped, and entered into the room, Hermes, Artemis and his son Asclepius. All the three gods looked worried and that look didn't seem right to Apollo. The Archer God asked his sister, "Artie, what's the matter? Why are you also worried?"
His sister didn't give him any reply, but instead looked away. Panic rose inside Apollo. "Come on. Will someone please tell me what's wrong with me? It's not every day that a God faints." Hermes couldn't tolerate his brother's distress and decided to answer the question. He said, "Polly. Calm down. It seems that Percy Jackson is going to become a father." Apollo was flabbergasted. Never in his life, he had thought that he would have to deal with such a situation. The demigod would never want a child with him.
Apollo's complexion paled. Asclepius saw the condition of his father and decided to usher the other two gods outside the room. Before leaving himself, he said, "Father, Percy needs to know this. And it's your decision to keep or not to keep the baby. We will support you no matter what." In the empty infirmary, Apollo could only hear the beating of his immortal heart along with the heartbeat of his unborn child. Tears pricked his eyes and he let them fall. How was he going to tell this to Percy?
Percy had just returned to his apartment after spending quality time with the rest of the seven. It was a ritual for them to have a reunion every month. He was surprised when Apollo flashed in his room when he was about to go to bed. Normally the meetings last more than two days in the normal world and seeing his omega so soon, Percy couldn't help but feel that something was off. Moreover the puffy eyes of Apollo proved his point. The demigod hugged his lover as they laid down and tried to help him calm down. Running a soothing hand though Apollo's scalp, Percy asked, "Darling, what's wrong? Did anyone say something to you? Whom do I need to kill?" Apollo sniffed, "No one said anything." The god turned to face the demigod, "Percy, promise me you won't freak out." Percy was more than curious. What had happened that Apollo was asking him not to freak out? The demigod promised, "As long as you didn't harm anyone innocent, I won't."
Apollo dropped the bomb, "I am pregnant with our child." Percy didn't react. Every moment felt like aeons to the God as he dreaded that this was the end to their relationship. Apollo closed his eyes and silently started crying again as the hollow in his heart widened. Percy was not happy with the child and would now inevitably break up with him. But the blond felt the soft pads of a thumb wiping away the tears from his cheeks. Percy murmured, "Pollo, open your eyes." His boyfriend obeyed. "Apollo, my love, I had certainly not expected that you will get pregnant even with us using protection. But remember that I am not going to break up with you whatever happens. Because the baby may not have been present in the near future I imagined. But you will a part of everything I will be. And I will add the baby to the equation as I would love to have a family with you." Apollo smiled through his tears, "I love you so much, Perce." "I love you more, Sunshine." Percy ran his hand through Apollo's scalp and hummed a lullaby that Sally used to sing to calm him down when he was small.
Apollo fell asleep soon. Stealing a last look at the god, Percy closed his eyes. He would really like to have a child with Apollo. After a few moments, the demigod drifted off to the land of Morpheus, dreaming of a perfect family with Apollo and his child, and their family.
