I laid against Stuart Macher through the whole movie. Jumping at the jump scares and glaring at his jokes about it. Towards the end of the movie the landline started to ring.

"Want to get that?" Stu asked pausing the movie.

"No, I'm content right here." I stretched out against him grinning. "They'll hang up." I said and then the ringing stopped. "See, what did I just say?" I leaned up to barely kiss his chin.

Then the line rang again.

"Fine." I huffed getting up. I climbed over the couch to get to the kitchen faster so i could get back to the movie.

"Weathers residence, to whom am I speaking to?" I asked politely.

"The boogeyman." The voice on the other line chuckled.

"Well, Mr. Boogeyman, I'm a bit preoccupied at the moment, can I make a note for you?" I didn't want to be too rude.

"Would you like to play a game?" The voice asked. The voice was almost fake sounding, really deep and staticky.

"A game?" I peered over to Stu who wasn't paying any attention.

"Yes, a trivia. What's your favorite scary movie?" The voice asked.

"Um, well I enjoy a lot of movies- Randy is that you?" I asked cockily. "If you want to scare a gal make sure you don't use a topic you make a personality trait." I laughed.

"Not Randy." The voiced answered.

"Oh, I'm sorry then. I just have a friend..."

"Don't sweat it, Megan. What's your favorite scary movie?" The voice asked.

"How do you know I name?" My voice quivered.

"Lucky guess." They answered.

"Tatum? Are you and Sidney trying to fuck with me again?" I asked growing angry.

"Wrong again, princess."

"Fuck you." I hung up the phone.

I walked back over to the couch.

"Who was it?" Stu asked.

"No-" The phone rang again. "One second." I said irritated.

"Weathers residence-"

"Don't hang up on me again." The voice from before was also very irritated.

"Look, I don't know who you think you are, but you aren't going to scare me. My boyfriend is within 10 feet of me right now so if you even try to do-"

"Boyfriend? You have no boyfriend. You are just the Stuart's side piece." The line went dead. I stood there in shock for a moment.

"Meggy?" Stuart looked over the couch. "What's going on?"

"Someone knows about us." I said staring him straight in the eye.

"What?" He jumped over the couch, his usual grin turning into a frown.

"They knew my name. And then they knew yours. And they called me your side piece, Stuey. Someone knows. They were trying to scare me. Started by asking about my favorite movie." Stu froze. "I thought it was Randy at first since he knows I'm seeing somebody but the voice said no. If it was Tatum, my head would be on a stake for everyone to see." I rambled.

"Did you recognize the voice?" Stu asked.

"No, I couldn't figure out who it was." I cried burying my face into Stuart's chest. He ran his fingers through my hair slowly.

"Sh sh sh. It's alright, Meggy. Maybe it was just someone who is mad at Gale. Your sister does piss off a lot of people." Stu suggested.

"Why would someone stalk me long enough to figure out who you are just for revenge against my sister?" My voice was muffled against his shirt.

"I don't know." He admitted. "I'll stay the night, how does that sound?" He asked.

"Like a dream come true." I answered. He chuckled a bit. "What?" I glared up at him. Really? I'm terrified and he's laughing.

"This morning you were kicking me out and now you don't want me to leave." He answered calming down.

I started to laugh with him through my sniffles. "Yeah, you're right." I yawned right after

"Let's finish your movie and go to bed." Stu said guiding me back to the couch where I refused to unlatch from his waist.

Stu dragged me upstairs after the movie. The mystery caller never called again but I was still on edge. I locked every door and window we had in the house before double checking and triple checking again.

"Here." I handed Stu a bat.

"What's this for, Cookie?" He asked quizzically.

I blushed a deep crimson. "Y'know, just in case." I mumbled. He had a light dusting of pink on his cheeks as well. He must not have noticed his little nickname until after I did.

I turned away from Stu who now sat on my bed taking his shirts off. I undid my robe allowing it to fall to the floor. I sighed a little upset I didn't actually get to use the lingerie tonight.

"Wowowowowowza." I heard Stu staring at me.

"Suprise." I said awkwardly facing him. "I guess I should change."

"No." He said quickly. I stopped to look at him. He gulped staring at my entire figure. "I mean, unless you're uncomfortable."

"I'm not uncomfortable. These are wireless so I can sleep in them." I giggled. I still felt slightly exposed, so I quickly jumped under the covers. Stu went to do the same until I stopped him. "I know those jeans will be uncomfortable." I squeaked. He nodded in agreement and started taking them off.

"Are you alright? You've seen me completely bare before, Meggy." He took notice of my awkwardness.

"Yeah, but usually when we're this bare... you know... we're..." I took a breath in and out. "Usually, it's because we're having sex." I spoke. "Now we aren't, and I'm not used to us just falling asleep with one another without the sex right before." I explained. Stu wore his signature lopsided grin jumping back into bed. He gripped my arms wrapping them around his torso.

"See, easy peasy, Meggy." He wrapped his arms around me. I shifted to fit myself flush against him like two puzzle pieces made for one another. He flipped the lamp off before he relaxed.

"You can call me Cookie by the way. I like it." I whispered.

"Nah, I don't. I think wifey fits better. Because one day I will marry you." Stu aimlessly admitted before he erupted into soft snores. Meanwhile I felt like I was having a heart attack.
