Y/n's POV

It's been a month and a half since Cade got out of jail and I started to track him and so far he's been doing well to stay away from the bad points of the city. I just made it to the next chapter of a book I was reading when a notification came up on my phone. Cade was in a place notorious for its gangs and mafia. I soon as I read the notification I was ready and willing to catch him in the act and send him back to jail. 'I knew I still couldn't trust him' I thought to myself as I got changed.

Quickly and swiftly I exited the base, making sure no one followed or saw me

Quickly and swiftly I exited the base, making sure no one followed or saw me. Every few minute I would check his coordinates to see if he hadn't gone anywhere. Carefully I made my way down the back ally's of the gangs as lease suspicious as possible. I was gaining on Cade. When I had almost reached his exact location I saw Cade was in a bar known to house the fifth most dangerous gang. I walked inside careful not too be seen by Cade or maybe any of his allies. I spotted Cade right away, talking to what seemed to be the head of the gang. Swiftly I made my way to a seat close enough to hear what they were saying but far enough not to be recognised. When I took my seat the first thing I heard was...

"Are you sure you can find her?" Asked Cade.

"Of course boy, we keep track of all people like her" answered the boss.

"And you won't cause too much trouble?" Questions Cade.

"Boy just relax we do this all the time" replies the boss.

At this point I was ready to jump into action, I just needed one more suspicious line. My hands were shaking and adrenaline pumping.

"Good, all I need to do is hand this to you then, and you'll deliver it to his grandma" sighs Cade.

I had almost jumped on them when I held myself back. I used my phone to look over my shoulder to see Cade handing over a box of unopened chocolates.

"Randy's grandma is going to love these chocolates; white chocolate with hazelnuts, her favourite" sighs the boss taking the chocolates.

"Randy said they were, he misses her very much in jail, I use to hear so many sweet stories about her" replies Cade.

"Yes she is very dear to us all, grandma Nancy sees the good in us when nobody else seems too" explains the boss lovingly.

I had to admit the moment was kinda heartwarming but still there was this deep feeling of disappointment that I didn't catch Cade doing anything illegal instead I caught him doing something kind. I started to doubt myself, maybe Cade had changed. Still I wasn't going to let my guard down that easy, I had been stabbed in the back before and I sure as hell wasn't going to let it happen again.

Once Cade left I waited about fifteen minutes before leaving myself, just to be safe. Before going home I picked up some McD*nalds and K*C (didn't put down full name for copy right reasons) so I didn't get it too much trouble for disappearing. When I got home it seemed like it wasn't even a second until the demons were summoned by the smell of food.
