Going Rogue

Y/N's P.O.V

I watch my phone screen as I get changed into a casual outfit. A scowl on my face. Ever since Kade had gotten out of jail I have been keeping an eye on him and recently he's been acting suspiciously. 

As I walk out of my room and head to the exit Natasha calls out to me from the couch. "Where are you going (Y/n)?" she asks. I turn my head to see she's watching me. "I'm going out to meet with some friends" I answer putting on a fake smile. "Ok then" Steve dismisses me. When I walk out of the building I quickly teleport away to only a few blocks from Kade's whereabouts according to the GPS.

I follow the moving GPS down some back alleys until I reach a club. "The Nail under the Hammer..." I whisper to myself reading the glowing sign. This club is known for fights, trouble, and underground deals. I make my way inside, using my powers to get right past the bouncers. As I walk in, I look around for Kade. It wasn't long until I spotted Kade, following two goons. "Gotcha!" I mumble, swiftly following them, careful not to be noticed or recognized. I follow them upstairs and into a room where they close the door. I curse under my breath. I look around to see if anyone was nearby or watching. After finally coming to the conclusion that no one was nearby I rush over and put my ear on the door just in time to hear... "Listen I will get you the money, I just need more time..." pleads Kade. This was just what I was looking for! Proof that he truly hadn't changed! I listen a little longer gaining more proof until I was sure I could convict him. As soon as I got what I wanted I barged in. "KADE YOU ARE UNDER ARREST!!" I yell, hands as ready to blast anyone in the room. Quickly heads turn in my direction and Kade jumps up looking flustered. "(Y/n)? what are you doing here?" Asks Kade. "Funny I was about to ask you the same thing" I reply. Out of the corner of my eye, I see one of the goons try to walk toward me. Quickly I move one of my hands in his direction. "I wouldn't try that". 

Kade tries to take a few steps towards me but I glare at him. "Don't think you can get too close either" I warn. He puts his hands up. "Listen (Y/n) you don't understand what's going on" pleads Kade. "Don't I?" I raise an eyebrow. "yes, I'm here because I owe him money" explains Kade. "I know that much, why do you owe him money?" I ask sarcastically. "I borrowed money from him to pay for my cousin's hospital bills, she has a big operation coming up and her family doesn't have enough money" explains Kade deeper. "Is that right?" I question. Kade nods; "You can check the contract on the table" Kade points to a piece of paper on the table. I walk over and pick up the piece of paper on the table, still watching the rest of the men in the room carefully. I read the paper and everything Kade had said was true. I couldn't believe it. "You're telling the truth...." I gasp. Suddenly there was an echo of footsteps rushing up the stairs I turn around quickly. 

"(Y/n)?!...."

Hello Everyone, I would just like to apologize for taking over a year to update this story. I am really grateful that you are enjoying the story and again I deeply apologize for the long wait for chapters. There has been a lot going on and I will be trying to update and write as much as I can however there might be another long wait for the next few chapter. Again I apologise, but we are about half way through my plan of the story. Thanks again for enjoying the story!!
