--Nola's POV--

The past three weeks have been the worse. Zeke's grandparents and parents thought it'd be best if he'd stay for another long week. I miss him. I really do. Thankfully we've talked on the phone and have Skyped almost everyday.

I had daddy drop me of at grandpas for the day today. Papa's been spending the day with me while grandpa is resting. They both neglected to tell anyone how sick grandpa is.

"Papa can I ask...well tell you something?" I ask papa as we sit in the glider outback.

"Of course love," he says with a smile,

"Would you be able to buy me something?" I ask him nervously.

A look of confusion crosses his face as he nods at me.

"I need...or think that I should take a pregnancy test," I blurt out quickly

He stops the glider and stares at me in shock. Here we go...

"Nola..." he starts.

"I know. You're disappointed. Why didn't we use protection? Are we stupid? Blah, blah, blah.."

Papa chuckles, "I was just going to ask if you told Zeke..."

"Oh, okay...and no. I did not. I'm only three days late on my per-"

"Stop!" Papa laughs. "Nola, you're a smart girl. I know you know that you should've used protection. It's okay. I'll get you the test. If it comes out negative, we'll never speak another word of this. But if it's positive, we need to tell your father and Zeke."

I nod in agreement and give him a hug.

"I just need to check on grandpa before I head to the store, okay love?"

"Yes papa," I tell him. "I love you."

"I love you too," he replies before heading inside.

I take the opportunity to call Zeke to see what he's up to. "Hey babe," I say into the phone.

"Hey! I miss you Nola!" Zeke says cheerfully.

"I miss you too. What are you up to today?"

He sighs, "I'm working at the cafe. I can't wait to leave. I love my grandparents to death, but I'm 15. I need to be free!"

I laugh at him, "you're something else Zeke."

"I'm your something else though..."

"Of course," I tell him.

We chat for another forty minutes before saying our goodbyes. I then make my way back inside. Grandpa and papa are sitting at the kitchen counter chatting. It's nice to see grandpa out of bed. When I enter the kitchen grandpa pulls me in for a hug.

"You told him, didn't you?" I ask papa as grandpa still holds me tight against him.

Papa chuckles and shrugs his shoulders. Then I hear someone come through the front door. It's daddy. He walks in with a small bag in his hand and gives me a forced smiled.

"Papa!" I whine as I burry my head into grandpa.

"I had to tell him love," papa says as he rubs my back.

Daddy pulls me aside and hands me the small bag. He then heads over to sit across from grandpa and papa. I sigh and make my way to the bathroom.

I come out a few minutes later. All three of their heads turned to my direction. I instantly break down.

"Nola..." Daddy says as he gets up and makes his way over to me. He pulls me into him. "It's okay. I love you and I'll support you no matter your decision."

"I'm sorry daddy," I cry.

"It's okay. I could give you some kind of lecture, but that won't change anything. You do need to discuss this with Zeke. I just have one question, did you use any kind of protection?"

I shake my head no. We're both stupid. We were caught up in the moment. I doubt he even had anything.

"I'm not mad at you Nola," daddy says in an attempt to calm me down. "I guess I'm just a little disappointed, but I love you no matter what. Just remember you have your father and I and your grandpas are here to help you. You're not in this alone love."

--Zeke's POV--

One week later...

Todays the day! I finally get to see my Nola as soon as this stupid plane lands. She's been acting weird. Our phone calls seemed almost non-existent the last week. Whenever we Skyped she looked upset, but insisted that she was fine.

I hope she's not going to leave me. I don't know what I would do if she left me. I would probably turn back to hurting myself.

Nola's the only reason I'm alive. I never want to leave her. Especially like that. I still think that she deserves someone better, but I'm thankful that she loves me just as much as I love her.

My mother greats me at the airport. I was hoping that Nola would be here, but she told me that she hasn't been feeling well. She's apparently been sick the entire week.

My mother engulfs me in a hug and kisses my cheek. I peel her off of me and we make our way to the car. Taylor and Jackson are waiting in the car. They both practically ignored my presence. Luckily they made out the entire ride home, so I didn't have to listen to Jackson call me a freak.

Before I enter the house I get a text from Nola asking me to come over. I beg my mother to let me go. Eventually she caved and I had her drive me to Nola's grandparents house.
