It was a calm day, patter sound of the rain echoed through the room. The euphoric aroma of wet soil filled the atmosphere giving a soothing feeling.

There she sat sipping her coffee, reading a book. Suddenly a knock on the door broke her concentration from the book. "Come in" She said.

Hwasa opened the door and stepped in with a small smile on her face "Hey" She waved her hand.

"Hi" Chaerin replied. "I need to talk about something" Hwasa mumbled nervously. Chaein motioned her to speak ahead.

"Have you really gave up your position of the maf-" Hwasa was quickly intruppted "You know about the novel I've been reading? Its a romance one. Very intresting!" Chaerin exclaimed.

This caused Hwasa to frown, the Chaerin she knew was no longer the one standing in front of her. She was changed completely.

Her old Chae would say something like 'Ew what cringy shit is this' to a romance novel, but now she was excited about reading that.

She also took a closer view at her outfit, she was wearing a florescent pink satin gown. Something that would be described as 'hideously embarrassing' by her old self.

Ever since she resined from the mafia. She has been acting different, too much to the point that it seemed to be fake. It felt like she was purposely acting like that.

"Since when are you intrested in romance books" Hwasa raised her eyebrow. "Since forever" The girl said in a bubbly tone.

"Chae...you changed since the past few months. You thought no one would notice?" Hwasa's patience was running low.

"I dont know what you're talking about" Chaerin stood up and faced the window, her back now facing Hwasa.

"I know where he is" Hwasa said sharply. "What?" She said still not facing her. "I said I know where he is... Jackson"

Chaerin felt her breath hitch at the name. She stood frozen for a while but soon gained her composure and said "I don't have anything to do with that person anymore"

Hwasa clenched her fists in anger "What the hell is wrong with you!? All this time you are a completely changed person and now that we finally know where that bastard is you dont care? Are you too much of a princess now!?"

She expected Chaerin to yell at her or be angry but she was totally calm "I already said anything related to him doesn't concern me anymore"

"So what are you going to do huh? Pretend to be this person you're not. What will that get you, do you think that acting like this is going to make your past vanish!? Are you somehow going to forget that your a killer, a murderer!"

Hwasa knew exactly why she was acting like this she wanted to change herself completly so she doesn't get reminded of who she was. She knew that Chaerin herself didn't like who she was becoming but she was still forcing it onto herself.

"I never took you for a coward Chae, running away from you past like this. I thought you were mature but look at you. In all these months you have become an immature and an airhead. Do you think Jimin likes this, do you think anyone likes this. You being all weak and frail!?"

Shockingly after hearing this insulting outburst from Hwasa Chaerin was still calm, too calm even not a frown on her face "Its a beautiful day, isn't it?"

Hwasa was enraged at this point. She could not believe that this women just ignored everything she said. Out of anger she took out her knife out of her pocket and threw at the girl infront of her.

In a millisecond Chaerin turned around and caught the knife, less than an inch away from her neck. Even though her back was facing Hwasa she still knew that the knife was coming at her through the faint reflection from the window.
