This oneshot is a combination of previously written shots, "Grave" and "Soap".

July 1st, 2024 (unsure)

"Wow..." Harry whispered.

Draco's eyes widened, tears running down his cheeks.

"H-Harry-"

"No, Draco. You always find a way to insult me in every little bloody fight we have! If it's not about my parents, it's about my friends. And I'm tired of it. Honestly, it's like all you ever want to do is argue." Harry yelled.

Draco sobbed.

"I'm tired of having to defend them. Tired of this!"

"Maybe, we should just go our separate ways..."

"No!" Draco screamed.

He got up and walked to Harry..

"Please Harry! I'll be better! Just don't leave me" He cried out, reaching to grab Harry's arm, who pulled back.

"Malfoy, we both know you'll never change."

If only Harry knew he could never change. Not because he didn't want to, but because he couldn't physically change. He was raised that way, and what is inscribed into your roots, is unchangeable.

Hah, not even soap can change it.

Harry slowly walked up to the gravestone, flowers in his hand. His eyes were beginning to water up. He kneeled down in front of the grave stone that said-

Draco Lucius Malfoy
1980-2021
"Love hurts, Love lives, Love leaves you in pain, but no matter what, you fight for it. Something i clearly couldn't do"

"Hey Dray... I'm sorry for not coming lately.. I've just been busy with work and the kids.."

Harry wiped his tears off with his sleeve.

"I miss you, Dray.."

His hand slid on the grave, trailing the words dug into the stone.

"I was so stupid back then, rejecting my feelings so I could follow what everyone else wanted me to do. "

Tears slid down his cheeks.

"Why did you do it, Draco? Yo- You could've told me! Instead you chose to die for me.. why?"

Harry sniffled, the memories being too painful to bare.

"Now I'm stuck talking to a grave."
