Previous chapter
As the three were leaving, kanae mouthed (sorry) to Giyu before leaving with them. Giyu didn't care because he knew that they wouldn't stop even if they told them to, but the best course of action was to simply ignore them and let them do whatever they want.
So he finished gathering his stuff and left the school to go home, but was lost in his thought remembering a certain memory of his past.
Giyu: Nee-san " he mumbled out loud.

No one pov's - Flashback
Tomioka Giyu, a 9-year-old, was playing with his sister, who was Tsutako Tomioka The oldest daughter of The tomioka family, who was also responsible for her younger brother, who was having fun, where? In a park because Tsuatako thought it was a good idea to take her brother somewhere to have fun and play with him, the reason, why she did this also, is that their parents died of a rare disease almost 1 year ago and giyu was sad about their death, so tsutako was trying everything in her power to make her brother feel happiest again. Tsutako was right now was helping her brother get on the swing.
Tsutako: "what's wrong giyu? Need some help," said in a gentle tone
Giyu: "yes Nee-san" answered with a smile.
Tsutako giggled at the cuteness of her little brother.
Tusutako: "ok, here let me help" as she picked up her little brother, place him on the swing, and started to push him softly.
Giyu: "Thank, Nee-san, yay" as giyu was laughing and giggling as he was having so much fun.
Tsutako: "Anything for my cute little brother," she thought
Even though she was very young, Tsutako would do the impossible to keep her brother safe, just as giyu, the death of their parent hit them hard but tsutako couldn't sit there and cry over them, she have a little brother to take care of. They didn't have any relatives so they can take care of them, so she need to take it upon herself to find a job, cook, clean, and make giyu happy all the time. Even tho all this was too difficult for a 16-year-old to handle, she didn't care, she even let giyu get more food than her with they ate, though they didn't have much food to eat due to the little money that tsutako got in her job, but that didn't stop her to due the impossible for her little brother because hearing and seeing her little brother laugh, giggling, and smile was enough to motivate her to keep on pushing through this harsh life they had now.
While Tsutako was lost in her thought, giyu noticed this and began to waved to her sister and asked if she was alright.
Tusutako finally snapped out of her thought and look at giyu and smile at him, and said: "it okay giyu, I was too lost in my thoughts" then noticed the sun was going down " I think it time to go giyu, also since we have an amazing day, how about I cook salmon Daikon when we get home, your favorite."
Giyu: "Really, Nee-san" with stars in his eyes and a big smile.
Tsutako: "yes giyu, come on let's go home before it gets too late" as she gestured to giyu to hold her hand on the way to the house.
Giyu took her sister's hand and started to walk back to their house while walking they couldn't help but admire the beautiful city they live in, They lived in a city called 'Genress' it was a big city where life was peaceful most of the time but also dangerous because there were also a lot of criminals and crimes still going on even though the demon slayer organization were taking care of them but that didn't stop them, some even form organization or gangs of them own, so they can steal, kill, abuse, or to enslave other.
