tobi is outgoing and tends to speak his mind even though most of the time they aren't asked to. tobi is confident and has been this way since before the apocalypse he's this way because they know they're good at things and aren't afraid to show it which can mean tobi is sometimes perceived as cocky or arrogant. tobi is very loyal to the people close to him though he wouldn't admit it he's always there for a shoulder to cry on, they are not the best with giving advice but he will always listen without interruption though he doesn't do it often. tobi has a sense of bravery inside of him, they will always throw themselves into danger sometimes the people around him aren't sure if that makes him brave or stupid. tobi isn't the most intelligent, they aren't a complete moron but they are definitely more brawns than brains. tobi has many good traits but also many bad ones, tobi can't control his anger making them seem impulsive or unpredictable which is true, tobi can go into dangerous outbursts not being able to control their anger and could end up hurting someone severely. tobi always liked violence, horror movies were his favorite this sounds kinda creepy but he likes the look of blood on his hands and his face. and tobi has a short temper so most of the time especially in the apocalypse something is making him angry.
BACKGROUND |
pre-apocalypse — when tobi was younger it was only his mom and their younger sister living in a small apartment along the east side of their suburban town. tobi never met his dad, he always imagined him a hero but as tobi got older those wishes started fading away. when tobi was fourteen a freshman in high school, his mom get a new boyfriend tobi didn't like him from the beginning with his gambling habits and his smell of alcohol and mildew tobi now still couldn't erase from his head. it got even worse once their mom married the pathetic man, tobi hated being the home the only reason he was for his younger sister who they felt they needed to shield from the horrors of the world. tobi was always getting into arguments with arthur his mother's husband, it was either tobi couldn't take it anymore and couldn't keep his mouth shut and that got him in trouble.tobi wasn't a good kid in school, he was kicked out of three schools for violent outbursts they were just happy no one pressed charges. tobi before the apocalypse hit was hated by almost everyone he knew their teachers, their mom, their "stepdad" the only person that stuck by him was his sister. right before the apocalypse hit tobi was diagnosed with intermittent explosive disorder which explained his inability to control his anger and getting expelled from the last three schools he was in.
post-apocalypse — even though tobi protested it plenty of times, his family went up to a cabin from an old camping ground. tobi couldn't take it anymore he couldn't take the smell of alcohol that radiated off of arthur or the sound of his mother snorting cocaine on the wooden countertop as their sister was in the next room. that was the day tobi killed arthur with his bare hands, he hadn't meant to at first, but he soon almost liked the look of the blood on his hands. arthurs blood on his hands, they'd beaten arthur so bad that if he was a zombie he couldn't move if he tried. things seemed to go downhill from there a week later their mom overdosed and passed resulting in her becoming a part of the undead that was the day tobi lost everything their mother and his sister both because of them.
