[ This Chapter Doesn't Have Much Of a Story, Apologies! It's mostly a filler ]

"You're here to visit..who?" The Royal Knight frowned at the cookie. He huffed, repeating his words.
"My aunt." He folded his arms. The Knight rolled his eyes, pointing his sword behind the other man.
"Git, kid. We would have been informed."
The cookie glared.
"I suppose having a word with their majesty Timekeeper wouldn't hurt, would it?" His eyes glittered.
"His majesty is not here right now." Knight didn't put his sword down. "Everyone knows that."
"..where is he?" Worry coated the cookies voice- he sounded genuine. But he couldn't be trusted until Knight knew who he was.
"Would you tell me your name first?" Knight's words were harsh.
"Gods, does nobody recognize me?!" He pulled at his hair angrily. "It's me! Gingerbrave?!"
"Wh.." Knight had to take a good look at him to realize he wasn't lying. The boys hands were scarred, most likely from the war, and his hair was tied into a ponytail. He no longer had it covering his eyes- probably what caused no one to recognize him. He had a silver ring on his right hand, and had lost the candy cane apparently. So yeah, people weren't going to know it was him. Knight pointed this out.
"Yeah, well-.." He couldn't find a way to defend himself. "Whatever. So I look different."
Knight sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Come in." He followed the blond, stepping into the Hollyberry castle.
"She isn't here, by the way. Some bullshit complication with Twizzly Gummy and the TBD." Knight groaned.
"..oh." Gingerbrave grinned nervously. "Hey, uh..I'm not the only one here."
Knight glanced over, perplexed. "Really?"
"Yeah, the others are here too. Except for Chili Pepper. Cream Puff is here though." Gingerbrave rung his hands together in his sweater pocket. Chili had stayed in town near the Vanilla kingdom; said she was done with traveling that far and had been since the war ended.

Completely understandable.

"Ah, alright. How are they?" Knight spun his sword. Gingerbrave dragged his hand across the wall, feeling the soft carpet like drapes every so often.
"Strawberry's good. She rules the Dark Cacao kingdom, did you know?" Knight couldn't tell if he was lying.
"Custard scares his people..it's weird. Not sure why he's so harsh.." Brave, once started, was difficult to get to stop talking about his friends. "Strawberry married Pumpkin Pie and Strawberry Crepe! And Wizard.."
Knight didn't listen to what he had to say about Wizard. He didn't really want to. The two were absolutely hopeless as teenagers.
"..and apparently they had to go through this thing called the Wizardry trials and that's why Cream Puff and Wizards relationship is a little weird.."
"The what?" Knight swerved around. He'd heard of it through Espresso, but he'd never really asked about it.
"The wizardry trials. They're a test of strength and shit, I dunno."
"Hm. So, why did you want to see Timekeeper?" Knight turned back around and shoved the large doors open. The conversation between the queens stopped as the two stepped in.
"Oh, no reason in particular. We just...haven't seen clock in a long time."
"Ah..Knight, who is this?" Queen Cookie looked away from Raspberry Cookie and towards the two men.
"Ah.." Knight chuckled nervously. "It's-"
"Gingerbrave!" He grinned, winking at her royal highness.
"Oh!" She clapped her hands together, her eyes lighting up. "It's been so long!!"
"Well then, we've got catching up to do, don't we?" He grinned at the group of women. Parfait giggled, nodding.

"Ah. Onion, my nephew and his friends are in the kingdom." Their voice crackled, like a static on a radio. It had a constant seductive hint to it, like a manipulative mother from a children's movie.
Ha. Odd comparison, huh?

"Oh?" Onion turned, her white and green hair just barely out of her face. The older figure smiled, his legs dangling off of the giant scissors he sat on.
"Yup. It seems I should go now, huh? Now that we settled everything with Twizzly Gummy, she should be home any moment now."
"I suppose you should. You won't be gone for too long, right?" Onion fixed her goggles for the millionth time.
"Of course, darling. Time is never a problem for me." She smiled, disappearing. Onion Cookie sighed, watching through the openings as her original version played with the other ghost children.

"Ah! Gingerbrave!" Timekeeper appeared behind their nephew. Their voice rang through the room, echoing.
"Timekeeper!" His eyes glittered as he threw himself into her arms, grinning. She laughed, embracing the boy.
"Oh, darling!" Raspberry smiled at her partner warmly, her voice layered with a sort of softnesss.
"Aw, did you miss me, love?" Timekeeper smiled. She appeared next to her wife, giggling. Raspberry sighed, laughing immediately after.
"Of course." Raspberry kissed hours cheek.
"How have you been?" Parfaits words were directed towards Gingerbrave.
"Oh, good! The others are here too!!" He smiled. "They're probably wandering around the kingdom right now."
There was a retching noise from the shows. Twizzly Gummy stumbled into view, snickering.
"Oh gods, stop them from flirting without us!" He whined, laughing at the same time. "Hey, kid!" Her last comment was pointed towards Gingerbrave, of course.
"So how's Wizard?" Parfait's face was smug, her eyes glittering.
"He's alright." Gingerbrave knew exactly what she was doing. "We started dating a couple weeks ago."
"Oh?"
"Mhm" He tugged at his sweater nervously.
"Hey, why don't you tell me what you've been up to? Or all of us?" Timekeeper was at his shoulder again, hanging upside down from the scissors. Gingerbrave nodded, placing his hands on his hips.
"Well, I've been spending lots of my time with Chili Pepper, who is not a great influence, let me tell you.."

"I'm not that bad!" Chili Pepper frowned. "I showed you how to survive, didn't I?!"
"Yeah, and you got me to work with you." Gingerbrave said dryly.
"Who's choice was that, huh?!" She frowned, folding her arms.
"Yeah, yeah." He rolled his eyes. Wizard held his hand, his head on the others shoulder. He was half asleep, having stayed up for whatever reason all night per usual.
Well, they were definitely Espressos child.
