After the school fight, anyone involved in it was suspended for two weeks. Tory and Robby were expelled but Robby was nowhere to be found and Miguel continued to be in a coma.

It was the first day back at school and Y/n was almost done getting ready. She slipped on her shoes and looked at herself in the mirror. She wore a black shirt, khaki cargo pants, and black converse. She looked at the scar on her face. It was healed for the most part and didn't hurt as much as it did two weeks ago. If she was being honest she thought it made her look 'badass' though she was sure some people would think otherwise.

Y/n grabbed her backpack that already had her stuff inside and her phone. She made her way over to Sam's room and gently knocked on the door. "Hey, are you ready to go?" She asked through the door. "No, go ahead without me" Sam replied. "Alright, see you," Y/n said.

Y/n made her way down to the kitchen where her father and mother were at. They drank their coffee together as they conversed. "Hey I'm leaving now," Y/n said. The two adults looked at their daughter "Without Sam?" Amanda asked. "She's not ready yet, she needs a little bit more time" Y/n answered. "In that case, be careful, alright? Stay out of trouble" Daniel said before taking a sip of his coffee.

Y/n nodded. "Okay see you guys later," Y/n said before leaving. Y/n got into her car and started it before driving off. Y/n arrived shortly and parked. Y/n grabbed her backpack and took a deep breath before stepping out of her car. She was only walking towards the entrance and she could feel people's stares on her. She opened the doors and was met with security and tables. They instructed her to place her backpack on the table for them to search it. After finding nothing they allowed her to go.

Y/n slung her backpack over her shoulder and scanned around looking for someone she knew. To her left, she saw Mitch and Hawk talking together. Y/n glanced away as they glanced at her. On her right, were some new girls who whispered as they looked at Y/n. Y/n watched as they laughed and sent her funny looks.

Out of nowhere, someone put their arm around her shoulder "Yo, n/n wass' up?" Chris said. Y/n jumped and looked at the boy beside her "Jesus Christ, you scared the hell out of me" Y/n sighed in relief. "Sorry" Chris apologized. "Hey, Y/n," Nathaniel said as he arrived beside the girl. "Hey Nate" y/n replied. Chris removed his arm from Y/n and the three began walking. They walked through the halls talking about their time off of school for the two weeks.

"Look it's 'Meat" Chris pointed at Demetri who was putting stuff in his locker. Hearing the familiar nickname Demetri turned his head and saw his girlfriend and friends walking up to him. He shut his locker and put his backpack on. Chris and Demetri did a small handshake before Nate and Demetri did the same.

Demetri turned his focus on Y/n. He pulled her into a hug and kissed her cheek "Glad to see you again" He said. "Me too" Y/n replied. Y/n and Demetri interlocked their hands and the four began walking. They ended up walking back to where Y/n, Chris, and Nate met up.

Hawk, Mitch, and Bert spotted some girls and smirked.
The girls walked by them and Hawk stopped them "Hey, ladies. I know freshman year can be scary. Any trouble, come to me. I'm the guy—" Hawk was shut down quick "who wets the bed and got kicked into that trophy case? Yeah we know" the girl said and walked away.

The girl and her friends walked past the group. They made eye contact with Y/n. Y/n kept eye contact with them. It was the girls who thought they were being discreet about their whispering. "Hey, Demetri," one of them said and sent a smirk to Y/n.

Y/n tightened her grip on Demetri's hand and she glared at them. "Someone knows who I am," Demetri said. "You famous now, 'Meat," Chris said. "Someone's jealous," Nathaniel said looking at Y/n. "Me? As if" Y/n said in a jealous tone. "Hey don't worry nobody's gonna steal me from you" Demetri put his hand around Y/n's shoulders.
Y/n was put at ease.

In front of them was Hawk, Bert, and Mitch. Mitch stood in front of Chris, Bert in front of Nathaniel, and Hawk in front of Y/n and Demetri. Chris looked Mitch up and down. Mitch waved his hand in front of his face "got something to say?" Chris smirked and pulled out his textbook "yeah, check out my new Lit. book. Some hard-hitting shit in here" Chris remarked. Mitch glared at the boy.

"This security isn't enough to protect your scrawny ass," Hawk told Demetri. "I don't need security" Demetri responded. "Everything all right here?" Counselor Blatt interrupted. Y/n put her arm over Demetri's shoulder and moved over to Hawk and put her arm around his shoulders " we're all buddies here. Aren't we?" Y/n gave the woman a fake smile. "The best" Hawk said and clenched his jaw. "Don't you all have somewhere to be?" Blatt said.

"Yes, counselor Blatt" Nathaniel mumbled. Hawk shoved Y/n's arm off his shoulders before walking away with Mitch and Bert. Chris and Nate parted from the couple.
"He's just mad he got his ass kicked" Y/n rolled her eyes.
Demetri chuckled.

By the stairs was Sam her breath was picking up and her heart was beating like crazy. Miguel falling and hitting his back replayed in her head. Demetri and Y/n approached the girl and Y/n tapped her shoulder. Sam gasped and looked at the two with widened eyes. "Easy there, Captain Marvel. Same team, remember?" Demetri said. Sam continued to breathe heavily as she looked around "I have to go" she said before going for the exit. "Sam—" Y/n shouted and was about to run after her but Demetri stopped her "she probably needs some time alone," he said.

The bell rang and Demetri and Y/n hugged before they walked to their classes. Y/n walked into her class and spotted the same girls from before. They began talking. "Miss LaRusso, right?" The teacher asked. "Yeah" Y/n responded keeping her eyes on the girls. "You'll sit on that table" The teacher pointed to the table in front of the three girls.

Y/n nodded and walked to the table. She pulled out a pencil and waited for her teacher to begin teaching.

"I can't believe Demetri is dating a girl like that."
"I know right? She must drive him crazy"
"I feel so bad for him"

Y/n turned around in her seat and looked at the three girls "you guys suck at whispering." Y/n said "And when you have something else to say about me. Say it to my face." Y/n glared. The girls never spoke again.
