Just so if you were wondering, this is what your house looked liked!

Y/n's POV:

I was right at the front door
of my house,
I decided to look through the window of my house
to see if my younger brother or specifically
if my mom was in the kitchen or living room.
But to my surprise she wasn't there,
and neither was
my brother.

In doing so...

I walked to the front door,
and tiptoed up the stairs, and as soon as I had
my hand on the doorknob to my room.
I heard another door open behind me,
you guess it,
It was indeed my mother...
" Y/n! "
She rushed to me and knelt down and started checking on my body
if I had any wounds or something.
" Hi mom,
I'm sorry I took awhile. Here are the cigarettes and change tho? "
I smiled guilty handing it out to her.
" Where were you?! You worried me sick! "
She stood back up as she took the money and cigars.
" I actually ran into Gordie ma.. "
I smiled hoping she would understand.
" Really? Is that why you took long? "
She raised an eyebrow as she leaned
on the stairs railing.
" Yeah, we hung out for abit and I guess
I lost track of time. "
I laughed.
" Well that's nice you both met up, Y/n. "
She smiled, noticing her expression changed
into a lovingly one.
" Yeah,
um where's Dylan? "
" Oh he's asleep in the room. "
" Oh okay, here could you give this to him when he wakes up? "
I asked taking out a red lollipop
from my pocket.
" Honey, you know he isn't allowed to eat those especially before lunch? "
" Thennn, after lunch. "
We both shared a smile as we were about to go out separate ways when I remembered I needed
to ask permission for later...
" Wait, mom! "
" Yes, Y/n/n? "
" Gordie's inviting me for a sleepover tonight?
Is that cool with you? "
" Hmm I don't know dear.. "
She answered sweetly.
" Come on mom! It's Gordie! I-
I haven't seen him in like 4 years!!
Besides it's just 1 night! "
I over-exaggerated hoping that reason would
make her give in.
" Alright fine, but be home before dark the next day.
You hear me? "
She announced.
" YES!! Thanks mom! I'm gonna go
take a shower first. "
I hugged her and ran back to my room.

As soon as I was in my room, I got on my bed
to rest for awhile..
Then phone started ringing by my night stand.
I answered and it was Gordie,
he told me about what to bring for later.
He explained and said to bring
a sleeping bag, food,
and to dress outdoorsy. And that's what I did,
but I couldn't find my sleeping bag.
I decided I'd just look in the attic before I leave.
Now, I was about to think of what
food to bring. But I knew my mom would find out
and be suspicious if I brought food...

Soo plan B.
I shook my Piggy bank and only 2 dollars fell out.
Guess that's all I got?
I folded the money and placed it near the things
I'd bring for later on the desk near
my door.
Then I took a shower since I knew we were camping out and there would be no shower.
Gotta stay hygienic, am I right?

~ Time Skip ~

I finished having lunch
and I was about to go to my room
but I had to watch some cartoons with Dylan
on tv since he wanted me
to watch with him.
He was also eating the lollipop I bought
for him earlier.

After watching for about 20 minutes,
I decided I'd go back
to my room.
I ran up the stairs, back to my room,
took a quick shower and changed into different clothes fit for later.
