Like? Love? I dont know!?!?

Y/n's POV:

" Do you know how long we've been walking? "
I tiredly asked Teddy, my legs hurting 10 times more compared to last time.
" Tired much? "
Teddy joked making me playfully punch him.
" Quit whining Y/n, I'm sure we're close. "
My cousin, Gordie, joined in our conversation.
" I'm serious. We're seeing a dead kid!
And that- that's... "
My words trailed off and I couldn't really figure out
what to say next...
Everyone, including myself stopped walking,
" That?? "
All 4 of them asked.
" That's, not normal... "
I sighed, and all the attention was on me..
" The hell it is. Can we all just go and
stay quiet? At- Atleast until we get there? "
Chris asked politely asked while him, Gordie and Vern continued walking.
" Yeah, like we haven't been doing that ever since we left the woods... "
I blurted out and started walking
next to Teddy, without even thinking it, but I wasn't wrong, was I??

I mean yeah, nobody really talked ever since we left the woods and when Teddy and Vern had a small argument about wanting to go back..

" And honestly, I'd rather hear Teddy blab on he's
"actually" french. Rather than the whole
walk being silent. "
I added, making Teddy and Vern let out a small
laugh.
Atleast they laughed?
" Really, Y/n? "
Gordie sounded annoyed?
" What?? I'm just trying to add some
levity to this shit? "
I retorted, and I knew Teddy would agree with me.

But that's when Chris said something I thought he'd never really say?

" Hey Teddy, why don't you marry her. She's practically a girl version of you. "
Chris smirked, both Teddy and I'd head shot up. Immediately feeling a
burning sensation in my cheeks.
Damnit Chambers??
" Hey, hey, hey. I meant funny stuff. 
Not something to embarrass him? "
I tried to cover up my feeling but it was use..
" Embarrass him?
Oh Olsen, I know you're embarrassed too. "
He laughed and continued walking off.
" YEAH! HAHA! "
Vern laughed along making Teddy playfully
punch him.
" You both will never grow up, would you? "
I chuckled pulling my sleeping bag higher.
" And you both will never stop having feeling for each other.  An- and you guys just
can't admit it. "
Vern shot back, finally something
he wasn't wrong about.
He then skipped to where Gordie and Chris were,
leaving Teddy and I behind them.

" Uh he's uhm, not wrong? "
Teddy spoke up, and I could tell he was nervous.
Him stuttering was one,
him looking down was another, and lastly
he put both his hands in his pocket.
" I- I guess? "
I smiled.
" So that kiss DID mean something to you! "
He really can't over that kiss,
can he?
" Oh my godd, nooo!
I only did that to shut you up! Nothing else more. "
I objected making him laugh.
" Then why'd you say I guess? "
" Cause I was teasing! "
I lied...
" Is that so? "
He stopped walking and pulled me back.
" Yes, Teddy. "
I took my hand out from his grip and continued to walk since I knew if we stopped,
we'd get left behind.
" Oh c'mon. I bet you 10 dollars it meant
something to you! "
I heard him shout while he caught up with me.
" You know it's getting annoying trying to get you to admit you like me? "
He added with a laugh.
" And I bet you 10 dollars that it didn't! "
I laughed ignoring what he added.
" Then let me prove it to you. "
He said making me stop in my tracks.
" Hm? "
" Let me, prove it, to you. "
He paused a few words in his sentence.
" You- you just hate being wrong Teddy. "
I said that, since I don't really wanna admit
I do like him....
Reason why...
I don't want us liking each other, to jeopardize our relationship that we have now.
But at the same time I do!
And I can't help myself cause I love this
son of a GUN!
" Alright, Y/n. You win. "
He spoke.
" I won? "
I confusingly asked.
" Nah I'm kidding. I know you love me. "
He started walking again.
UUGHHH
" Woah woah woah woah woah!
How did me loving you get here???? "
I objected even though it was the truth,
turning him back to face me.
" See Y/n. You get so defensive about it, which usually give a sign you do like me.
And might I add, ergoooo.
You love me. But all you just need to do
is just admit it.. "
He explained, smirking.
Kind of like he was giving a lecture since his eyes were closed while he explained and he did those dumb but cute hand gestures.
Took me a little time to sort of process
of what he said...

Like? Love? I don't know!?!?

" Uhuh, sure Teddy. "
I chuckled and tried to walk off when he pulled me back and pressed his lips against mine.
Oh my god...
This is the second time this has happened...
It was kind of like one of those kisses
where it wasn't planned and it just felt
right to do so...

With no hesitation, I kissed back until he pulled away. But let me tell you it was loongg kiss..
Six? 7 seconds max?

" There, I proved it. "
He proudly smiled to himself.
Talking about smiles, there seemed to be one on my face that I don't seem to get rid of.
" You like me. "
He smiled and put his arm around me while we took a few steps on the tracks.

" What- what was that for? "
I chuckled, ignoring his statement while
I stopped walking.
" Can you admit it now, Y/n? "
Teddy asked me and this time he was serious.
" I- "
Fuck it, I know he likes me and he knows
I like him too.
" Oh Teddy I- "
I was about leap to give him a hug and finally confess..
But..

" Guys! What's the hold up??
We gotta get moving! "
We heard Vern shout while he was making our way to us, kind of interrupting
our moment
" Damnit Vern.. "
I heard Teddy whisper, while Vern continued shouting about how we're "so slow" and that
"we should get going."
" Tell me later okay? Ya promise? "
He out his hand on my shoulder.
And with that, I nodded seeing a smile appear on his face.
Can't believe I was about to confess to him,
right here...
" Hey guys, guys.
Let's go! "
Vern happily jogged to us when Teddy gave me a wink and put his arm around Vern'sshoulder and
started walking with with him.
Knowing he was gonna explain to him that was suppose to happen between us earlier.
" Dude, you gotta know when to-  "
Every sound that was being made was muffled since I was soo lost in my thoughts.
Smiling to the fact Teddy kissed me
AGAIN!

Oh god!!

And just like before,
4 boys ahead of me leaving behind all of them :)
