LEECHES!!

~ Few Moments Later ~

Y/n's POV:

We walked
for god knows how long?
My legs hurt so much more than the
last time!!!
But we stopped since we were sort of already close...
I stood in between Teddy and My cousin, while next to Teddy was Chris followed by Vern.
" Is this it? "
I asked looking around, to see more tree's and
a wild field.
Chris then spoke up saying,
" Gentleman... "
I coughed since I was the only girl here.. He looked to me and,
" Apologies...
Lady, and Gentlemen...
The Royal.. "
He paused while we looked to the trees.
Mind you I still had my hand interlocked with Teddy's..
" God, the tracks go way out of the way.. "
Teddy said, looking to the tracks.
" If we cut across this field right here, we'll be there in an hour. "
Chris added as he pointed to the field, and hearing those words come out from his mouth.
I felt relieved knowing we wouldn't have to walk
that much longer. But knowing Vern...
" I think
we should stick to the tracks.. "
He suggested.

This guy is literally the shortest among all of us!
And he doesn't even look tired!!

" I say we go across
the field.. "
Teddy disagreed, making me crack a smile.
" Count me on that too. "
I said looking to see Teddy and Chris smile.
" Gordie? "
Chris asked for his opinion.
" Yeah.. "
He replied blankly while Chris said,
" Let's go. "
He smacked his sleeping bag while him and my cousin started walking off the tracks.
" Take no prisoners!! "
Teddy yelled as he let go of my hand pretending
his sleeping bag was a gun while he made
shooting noises.
I laughed at his actions when I felt him take
my hand again.
" Teddy, what are you- WOAHH!! "
I yelled as he dragged me along with him
and started running to catch up with
Gordie and Chris.
He laughed as we started running
across the field.
" Could've of given me a warning first?? "
We both chuckled while we kept running
when,
" Hey, you guys, it's a lot safer if we uh..! "
We heard Vern shout, I looked behind to see him pointing to the tracks.
" Come on, man! Let's take on the field! "
Teddy yelled when Vern shouted over,
" You don't know what's in those woods! "
" Come on, Verno!! "
I laughed while Teddy and I started speeding
our pace.

" Let's go! We're gonna get- "
Teddy yelled for him to come along but got cut off  by Vern
" Hey, you guys, wait up for me! "
I looked back and saw him running
towards us.
Not far along I heard him tumble making
Teddy and I laugh.

Don't worry, he was fine :))

~ Time Skip ~

We walked, well ran across in my case
the field for a good 8 minutes? 
And soon, we finally arrived into the woods, again.
" You guys sure this is a shortcut? "
I asked, avoiding the branches and mud or
whatever nature I could
stay away from.
But no I couldn't soo now,
my shoes and socks were all muddy.

How much longer?!!!

" Yeah! We're close Y/n. I promise. "
Gordie turned his head, re-assuring me.
I was in between the 4 boys while we walked through the muddy dirt and let me tell you
it was not fun..
I either kept tripping or losing my balance.
This is so not fun.

Me

      Vern and Teddy

Why do I always have to be the on in the middle?
I'd honestly rather stay behind
all of them..
Ya know? I don't even think this is a shortcut nor feel like we're near!!
This shortcut sucks.. Kill me now??
