I opened the door and saw Pj standing there waving.

"Hey, Dan! Sorry if it's too early for guests but I kinda need to talk to you," he explained awkwardly.

"No, it's alright Pj. Come on in," I said and smiled.

He smiled back and I led him to our living room.

"Oh, Pj, Phil is still sleeping so please try to keep it down?" I asked kindly. He smiled and agreed.

"So, what do you want to talk about?" I asked.

Pj sighed and said, "It's about Chris."

"Really? Is anything wrong?" I questioned.

"No, it's not wrong at all. It's just, well, bothering me."

I stayed silent and let him continue.

"He hasn't been acting himself and he is acting really quiet. Do you think you know if he is okay?" Pj glared at me hopefully.

"Er, Peej, I'm really not sure. Maybe you could just try helping him by having a talk with him," I thought.

"Well, that's the other thing. I want to help but I'm not sure how."

Suddenly, Phil walked in. "Oh, hey Pj. What's wrong?" Phil asked and hugged Pj.

"Um, nothing really. I gotta go now. Thanks, Dan," Pj turned and left the flat.

"No problem," I said before he closed the door.

"That was strange," Phil thought out loud.

"Yup, like your mum," I snickered.

"Shut up!" Phil laughed and playfully punched my arm.

The laughter died down and we both ended up just staring at eachother deeply in the eyes.

We seemed to be having a silent conversation and only making expressions with our eyes. And not to mention, we were not about 5 centimeters apart. It sent shivers down my spine when he exhaled. I could legit feel his breath.

The staring stopped after about a couple minutes when Phil blinked and quickly glanced away. I swear I saw him blush. I know I did.

Well, who am I to talk? I was blushing like mad. My stomach was also doing gymnastics.

I coughed awkwardly and made an, "Ahem," noise.

Phil looked in my direction and made an excuse to leave the house for a minute.

"I-I have to go.. Um, to the store. I'll be back soon," he said while quickly walking to the front door, "Bye, Dan."

"U-um, bye Phil," I said and thought in awe of what just happened.

We have never been that close before. Also, we have never looked into each others eyes as deeply.

I stood still for a minute, then raced upstairs to get my phone.

I grabbed my phone from my night stand and dialed Pj's phone number.

"Hey, Dan. What's up?" Pj said,

I sighed and said, "Pj, I need to talk to you. Come over to mine in a couple minutes."

"Well, okay, bossy," Pj laughed, "I'll be right over."

I opened the door as soon as I heard a slight knock.

Pj has always been very wise and he has quite a way with words, so hopefully, he can give me advice and I can confess something to him.
