It's now four in the morning, the birds start singing but the sun isn't rising yet. Ghirahim is still sleeping beside me. I hear loud steps coming from the hallway and suddenly stop. Loud knocks can be heard on my door. Ghirahim wakes up because of the noise.
"What's going on?, he asks."
"I have no idea."
After a few seconds, I might actually have an idea of what's going on.
"Actually, I think I know what's going on."
"What is it then?"
"I sort of ran away from the infirmary last night."
"What? You were in the infirmary?"
The knocking is harder.
"Lorelley, are you in there?"
I recognise this voice, it's Link's.
"Let's go, '' I said while pointing at the window.
"You do know that it's not the first floor right?"
"Well yeah but we don't really have a choice."
"Why not? Don't you want them to see me?"
"Not really, I'm going to have more problems than I already have."
"So I'm a problem in your life Lory?"
"That's not what I meant. Anyway, are you going to be okay? Because you're still injured."
"Don't worry about me."
"Go first, I'll cover you in case they manage to come in."
"No I don't think so, I'm the one covering you this time."
He pushes me out, I land on the ground perfectly and wait for him to come as well. I hear something breaking, probably my door as Ghirahim looks in this direction. He then jumps and joins me.
"Did they see you?, I ask."
"I think that the boy saw me."
"Link saw you?"
"I think he did."
"Oh my, what am I going to do?"
"You can just say I kidnapped you, he says while laughing."
"Maybe that's already what he thinks, and if it's not, I'd rather not make him hate even more than he already does."
"Lory you can't change fate, one day we will have to confront each other again. You can't hide me forever."
"I'll do whatever needs to be done so that both of you stay safe."
"I wonder what he would say if he heard you."
While we run to a forest, the rain starts pouring. I can hear the soldiers chasing us, they are still far behind us but they are getting closer. Ghirahim looks at me and catches my hand so that he doesn't lose me, and also because he runs faster than me. I hear Link's voice, screaming my name. While I look behind me, I slip and fall to the ground.
"Get back up! We have to hurry."
Link is now really close, if Ghirahim stays with me, I will just slow him down.
"Run."
"Not without you."
"Just go!"
"No!"
"Please run! I'll come back here later to go with you."
"But..."
"No "but", go as far as you can and I'll be there waiting for you."
"Fine, I'll see you here later then."
"He disappears from my sight in a few seconds only. Link appears behind me.
"Are you okay?, he asks."
"Of course. Why wouldn't I be?"
"You know he is dangerous, so I have every reason to be worried."
"I'll stop you for a second, Ghirahim is not dangerous. How can you judge him when you don't even know him?"
"Oh because you know him now?"
"Of course I do."
"Now that I think about it, was he what you were hiding lately in your room?"
"It's none of your business."
"I thought I told you to leave him there."
"And I thought we were friends, but maybe I was wrong. You keep disagreeing about my decisions. Why do you hate him so much?"
"He is my enemy, you don't get friendly with your enemy. He serves our biggest enemy, I have every reason to hate him."
I turn around and walk away from him. He stays still under the rain and looks at me with his sad eyes. I start to run through the trees trying to catch up with Ghirahim. He might be far but I will continue till I find him.
I've been running for some time now but something doesn't feel right. I feel someone's presence. Is Link following me? Or is it Ghirahim that was waiting for me after all? No. It's someone else. Someone that I have never met but that is familiar.
This person jumps in front of me, I slip and fall again. This red suit, this white mask, the sheikah sign upside down. Only a group of people wears that. What's in front of me is none other than a Yiga. He takes out his weapon and whistles. After three seconds, I am surrounded by Yigas. I feel as defenceless as when I had to confront this guardian.
All I wish for now is for someone to help me, I can't fight any of these Yigas. Is it where it's going to end? I don't want to die like this. I don't want to leave Ghirahim alone. I don't want to let go of a life I just started. I won't let go now.
The Yigas start attacking me, I try to avoid their attacks but they always manage to touch me. I have cuts everywhere, I keep trying but I get hurt even more in the end. I feel like fainting. I fall down and feel the cold and wet ground. I see someone coming this way, running through the trees. I think Link is coming. My vision is getting blurry. Link is attacking the Yigas but he isn't the only one fighting them. When the Yigas are defeated, I hear three voices around me. Somebody holds me in their arms. I try opening my eyes and I see Link and Fi talking with the person holding me. I should have known, the person holding me is Ghirahim.
I can't hear much of their conversation, because I'm too weak for that right now. But their eyes are filled with anger. Ghirahim looks at me and sees that I've opened my eyes. I can't hear him though, it's like I was already far away from here. I think I know what he is saying, he is screaming my name.
