Casino Cups Oneshots(some just platonic will put in oneshot title)

The Mysteries Behind Them

Narrator pov:
It was like any other day for the cup bros, they had to work at the casino, mugman needed to get more information, but.... today something was..... off..... cuphead was unusual and so was mugman. Let me show you what I mean.....

Mugman pov:
I was getting ready and I had to also grab some other things cause today we have a half day for some reason, so I went to grab everything to explore the temple, "Are you ready cup?" I said leaning on a wall, in our small apartment. "Almost!" He responded, he came out in his uniform, "teleport?" I nodded, we used the potion we had found. When we arrived we went inside and started our orders and daily walk around.

My first order was someone named 'Juiku' "Hello~" he greeted me with a soft smile, "Hi, I'm mugman and I'm going to be serving you today, what would you like to drink?" I responded to him while handing the man a menu. "Hm.... I would like the Gin-Cazi-Double" I wrote it down on my notepad "Have you decided what you would like to eat?" My voice sounded more normal, "Hmmm...... The gourmet steak please" I wrote that down, "I will be right back with your food sir". I walked when I was insight of him and walked faster when I wasn't. "A Gin-Cazi-Double, and a Gourmet Steak!" I told the chef.

I waited a few minuets "Here" the chef said, I went to the man and delivered his food, "Your food sir." I set everything down, "Thank you... could I have your business card?" I froze for a moment and then gave it to him, "Of course, here". "Hm.... Could I get your address?" My brain said I was not going to do that, "Uhm... it's *♤♤♤♤♤♤*" and I did it... "Okay~" he said smiling. I walked away and went to the employees break room. "Hey mug" Dice greeted, "Hi boss!..." Dice smiled at me and asked if I wanted to have a drink or two, I said yes cause I had nothing better to do.

"So how was your day mugsy?" Dice asked, "Good, some guy has my adress now.." Dice looked at me concerned but also a little pissed "Whats his name?" He said sounding a little mad, "Uhm.. Juiku I think.." I said it with concern lacing my voice a bit. "Alright, anyway how's cups?" Dice asked moving off the topic "Good, not causing that much trouble anymore" I responded "Hey, why don't we explore the calix animi temples?" Dice asked smiling "Me and cups were going to anyway but, Yeah sure!" I said happily.

Cuphead pov:
Me dice, devil, and mugman walked to the temples while making small talk, "Hey cups. Did yall ever figure out who your parents where??" Dice asked, "No.." I said, I was hesitant to tell him what happened when we where children. "Hey, atleast we are stand-in parents until you find yours!" Dice responded ecstatic, "Dice! We don't even know if they see us like that." Devil said while nudging mr.dice. "Oh cmon boss!" Dice said with a smug look on his face. "Hey break it up! I found something" mugman spoke from the other side of the temple. "It's.. ancient language??" I ran over while Dice and devil walked, "can ya decipher it??" I asked kneeling down next to Mugs,

"Yes.. but I don't have it in my book.." I looked at Mugs confused, while devil and dice stood by also confused. "What do you mean? If you don't have it how can you decipher it???" I asked almost yelling out of how confused I was "Cups, look at the language and tell me you can't read it" Mugs said very seriously. I took a look at the language and it slowly but surely formed words that I could read! "Is this the language elder kettle told us about..??" Devil and dice where still confused "what did elder kettle tell you?" Devil asked
