JUST FRIENDS - Jaden Walton

1 - the party

I put my phone in my purse and made my
way over to get a drink. Was I already
tipsy? Um yes, am I going to have the worst
hangover tomorrow? also yes but I don't care.

I saw Lucas across the room so I went to talk
to him. He noticed me right away and smiled.
'Heyy bestfriendd' I half hugged him and
sipped my drink.

Heyy Dana you look wasted' He laughed and tried to keep me stand still.

'No not yet I have only had a few' I winked but I stumbled over my black high heels.

'But have you seen Ella she said she would be here too?' I asked loudly.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I just saw her talking with some boys'

Okayy thank you Lucas I love you

I had finally found Ella and hugged her from behind. ' Bitch you scared me ' she screamed at me.

I tried calling you! I couldn't find you anywhere' I said while looking at all the people Ella was hanging out with.

Girl i'm sorry I don't even know where my phone is rn but meet my friends ' she said and turned around to show me all of them.

Jordan, Thomas, Jaden, Javon, Caleb.. this is Dana , my best friend she said looking at me like a proud mom.

'Wait your Javon Walton. omg'
The group laughed ,I giggled

30 min later...

'Let's do shots!!' Ella shouted.
This girl loves getting everyone wasted
'Let's do ittt baby ' I encouraged

I watched as she threw her head back and
gulped the alcohol like it was nothing.
I picked up my shot glass and downed it, I
tried my best to keep the burning liquid
down.

I noticed a boy was watching me intently and
lucky for him I'm wasted and full of
confidence.

'Hey you , you like what you see stalker?? '
You might wanna introduce yourself before I tell everyone you a creep. ' I said and he smirked.

'I'm Jaden and you must be Dana right? '

Yes that would be me, soo how do you know
my bestfriend?'
'Oh I don't really know her she just hangs out with Thomas sometimes 'He replied

"Cool, you seem cool-i mean'
Why do I have to embarrass myself omg.

I watched as a blond girl who was no
doubt stunning tapped him on the shoulder.
'Hey Jay' She said in a sweet voice.
'Wanna get a drink?' She asked
He looked at me and then looked at her again.

'Hey, I will see you around Dana'
He followed the girl and sat down on the
couch.

Damn why did she have to take him from me , first time shooting my shot and this happens.
I'm not being jealous right? I don't even know the guy.

I rejoined the group of boys and Ella and tried getting into their conversation but I couldn't get my eyes of that boy.

Suddenly Lucas jumped on the couch right next to me and put his arm around me. ' What are you staring at girl , get a drink and dance a little' he said.

I looked at him and grabbed the drink he had in his hand , I took him by the hand and started dancing.

As the night progressed and everyone became closer after a few drinks and deep conversations we decided to call it a night.

I stood up and started looking for my jacket. I couldn't even walk straight and bumped into a wall.

' Wow wow wow watch out girl ' a voice said behind me and I felt two hands on both of my arms. I looked over my shoulder and looked Javon in the eyes.

Oh nah I'm good i'm just looking for my jacket and tried getting out of his grip.  ' That will take hours, just stay here there will be a lot of other people staying over for the night.

I was in a doubt for a minute but decided to stay because Ella was staying here too.

Me and Ella walked up the stairs bumping into some couple making out in the hallway. ' Ew gross ' Ella said making her way through.

We finally found an empty room and fell asleep right away while we still had our dresses on.

The next morning...

I woke up to Lucas hitting me with a pillow.
' Get up lazy bitch, we are making breakfast.' He said.

I stayed in bed for 5 minutes and then decided to go downstairs. ' Does anyone have extra clothes with them because I feel disgusting ' I screamed while walking down the stairs.

I walked into the living room and could see the boy from last night and the blond girl looking very comfortable on the couch.

' Yea I do ' Lucas said and grabbed some shorts and a t shirt out of his backpack. Thanks I will be right back I said and walked over to the bathroom.

After I was done changing I walked back into the kitchen and sat down.

' I think we should make like a groupchat or something' a boy said sitting at the table. Yea we probably should, everyone agreed.

After everyone had put their numbers on a paper and Thomas made the groupchat we all decided to go home.

I said on the stairs trying to get my sneakers back on as Javon walked into the hallway. ' So you're leaving already? he said. ' Yea I feel gross and taking a shower is my biggest wish of today.  He smiled at me.

I think we should maybe hang out tomorrow or sum? Nothing weird but with the whole group if you'd like.

' Yea i'd love too I had fun with everyone ' I said and finally had my shoes on. Ella also came into the hallway and hugged me. ' Am I invited too? she said . Yea ofcourse everyone is invited.

I grabbed my purse and said maybe we could get boba tomorrow if u like? I looked at Javon. Yes how did you know I like boba. ' I don't I said and started walking to the door.

' Is this a groupsdate??? ' Ella said excited. While jumping up and down.

' What's a date? ' I heard a deep voice coming down the stairs. I looked up and saw Jaden coming down.

' We getting boba tomorrow with the group' Javon quickly said. U wanna join us?

' Yea sure I'll be there ' Jaden says winked at me and walked into the living room.
