7 - good news

It was the day after I told my mom about me wanting to go to another school. It's 8 am rn and my eyes are hurting.

Im a very emotional person so of course I cried while telling my mom. I know she wouldn't be mad at me but I just don't wanna disappointed her.

She said she understood my decision so she would talk to my school about me quitting. It's a few weeks before summer breaks starts. So my mom said it wouldn't be a problem for me to be staying home these weeks.

I called Ella with the news and she was so excited. She's really my best friend i love her. I can't wait to go to school with her and see her everyday.

I went scrolling on tiktok for a while and decided to take a shower. I honestly don't know what to do on a day like this. My friends are busy at school and I'm gonna be home for the next 2 weeks.

Time skip...

I was blow drying my hair while I got a text from Jaden.

Jaden told me Daelo wouldn't stop talking about me that's literally so cute. I love little kids.

The weather is pretty hot today. So i'm gonna wear denim shorts I think. I walked over to my closet and pulled out my favorite shorts. And decided to wear a black crop top with long sleeve because I get cold pretty fast.

I got dressed went downstairs to make myself some cereal and scrolled on Netflix to find a movie that is gonna entertain me for today.

Jadens POV

I just texted Dana asking if she would like to come over tonight for dinner. I hope she doesn't think I'm weird rn because I just met her. But my mom always wanna meet everyone we talk about in our house.

Luckily Dana was excited to come over so that's a good thing.

I came out of my thoughts back to reality in the cafeteria at my school. ' Damn bruh why you look so nervous all of a sudden ' Thomas said.

' Nah nothing i'm good I was just thinking about something. ' I said and took a bite of my sandwich.
' So what class do we have up next ' Matt said.

' I don't know I think biology ' I said.
I didn't like Matt. He always has to have everything I have and it's been going on for years.

I used to be really good friends with him until he said weird things to every girl I just talked to. He's just jealous since i got more attention on social media in a short period of time.

' Aight bro ' He said. I just ignored him. I stood up and walked trough the hallways to the bathroom.

I stood in front of the mirror and started texting my mom.

I walked right out of the bathroom since I heard the bell rang. I bumped into Thomas.

' Damn where have you been why you seem so irritated and nervous? ' He said and started walked trough the hallway over to the classroom we had to be.

' Nah there's nothing bro I just had to text my mom and Matt at the table wasn't making it possible because he just irritates me. '

We got to the classroom and sat down next to each other.

Time skip...

The bell rang and everyone immediately stood up.
' Uhm before y'all go I just wanted to say the next 2 periods you are free to go home. The teacher who was meant to be teaching y'all just had to go home because he's sick. ' The teacher yelled at us.

' Aw thank god' I said to myself. I really wanted to go home. Today wasn't my best day. I am really tired and it's hot as fuck.

I walked over to my locker and got everything I needed. I walked out of the school when I heard a honk.

I looked over. It was my sister Jayla. I walked over to her car. ' What are you doing here how did you know I was done? ' I said while getting into the passenger seat.

' Mom got an email so I decided to pick you up so you don't have to walk. ' She said and started driving off.

' Well thanks Jayla ' I threw my backpack in the backseat.

' So I heard you having a girl over for dinner tonight' she said and smirked at me. ' Yeah her name is Dana she's just a friend of me and Javon tho we just met her. ' Nothing special. '

' Yeah sure you've never had a girl over for dinner, you can just tell me if you in love' she squeezed my face.

' Nah Jayla come on it's not like that, mom wanted to meet her because Daelo wouldn't stop talking about her.' Don't make it look like something it isn't and don't even try to make these kind off comments tonight. It will make her uncomfortable. '

' Alright Jay calm down I would never do that.' I was just excited for you to finally have a girlfriend. But if you say it's not like that I believe you. '

We drove off on our driveway.

I walked into our house and walked over to my mom. I sat down at the kitchen counter and threw my backpack at the couch.

' So how was school ' She said.

' It was fine but the weather is freaking hot so I can't wait to have a cold shower. ' I said with my hands in my hair.

' Well that's about to change because I just watched the news and apparently there's gonna be a big storm coming up tonight. ' Javon said while walking up to us.
