6 - skipping school ( part two )

I opened the door. ' Hi Jaden ' I said.
' Hi Dana, can I come in? ' Uh yes i guess '

I let him inside and closed the front door. How do you know I live here? You stalking me?
' No Lucas told me ' he said and sat down on the couch.

' So what are you doing here ? ' I asked confused.

' Uhm yes about yesterday, did I make u uncomfortable or some? '  ' Uncomfortable with what? ' I asked and walked to the kitchen.

' You want something to drink? ' I grabbed a water bottle for myself. ' Yes give me one of that too' he said and pointed at my bottle.

I walked over to the couch and sat next to him handing him the water bottle. ' Thanks ' he said. I smiled at him.

' Anyways I mean like did I make u uncomfortable getting so close to you ? I'm so sorry if I did it was meant to be a joke but you ran upstairs so fast that I felt bad about it. '

' Oh that... no don't worry about it ' I said.

' Okay but I'm really sorry if I did ' he said.
' No it's okay don't worry ' I can take a joke '

He laughed and rested his arm behind my head on the couch. I didn't know how to act so I stood up and sat back down to do my homework.

' What you doing? ' Jaden said still being on the couch. ' Uhm just doing homework '
' Ow boring ' he said.

' Yeah but it'll be my last , at least at this school. ' I said while flipping a page.

' Huh what do you mean? You moving? '
' No I'm just trying to get myself to another school. I hate my current one. '

He stood up and sat next to me on the counter. ' So you coming to my school ? ' he said smiling at me. ' Yes just because Ella and Lucas are ' They're the only friends I have '

' So what am I ? A potato? ' Yea now that your bringing it up you kinda look like one ' I said writing in my book.

' Girl shut up. '

Jadens POV

I stared at Dana doing her homework. I'm glad she said she wasn't uncomfortable with me acting like that yesterday.

' Can you be done with that please ' I said while closing her books.

' Noo stop you fucked up my writing ' she whined. ' I can't fuck up something that's already fucked up '

' Fuck you. ' she said and went on her phone.

' Alr when ' I said sarcastically.
' No ' she said rolling her eyes.

'But I don't know what you wanna do but I have to order some food for tonight, you can stay if you want' My mom is coming home after diner. '

' I would but don't you want me to go home so you could prepare on the conversation you having with your mom tonight? ' I said while standing up.

' Yes maybe that's better ' she said.

' Ok so imma go rn, text me when you had the conversation with your mom and let me know how it went. ' I said walking to the front door.

' I will bye Jaden ' she said.

' See you ' I said and walked my way back home.
