"Wait, hold up. Aunt Hilda works at a bookstore... where mortals go? I can only imagine my mother's response." Evanora laughs as the two of them prepare lunch. "Also are you sure you don't want takeout? It'll only take a few minutes."

"No, no. Aunt Hilda prepared sandwiches for me. You can have some too, I know how much you always liked them." He chuckles as he opens the fridge and grabs the plate filled with sandwiches, setting it on the kitchen counter.

"Thank you. I really did miss them." She grins as she takes one. "If you don't mind, I'll swing by the town before I pick up Sabrina. I need somewhere to stay, after all."

Ambrose frowns. "You won't be staying with us? Here?" Evie sighs heavily and stares out the window.

"I don't know... I'm still mad at her."

"Okay, whatever you think is best." He smiles sympathetically at her. "Where will you stay then?"

"About that... any suggestions?" Evie smirks and Ambrose huffs at her.

"Yeah, there should be a hotel in town. Or at least a B&B."

"Thanks, Cousin. I'll check it out, maybe ask around a bit."

"Oh, you should go to the bookstore! The one where Aunt Hilda works, surely someone there knows it." He suggests and Evie nods.

"I will. I'm kinda nervous to see Aunt Hilda again, though..." She mutters the last bit, looking down at her hands to fidget with them. Ambrose walks over to her and puts a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

"She will be thrilled to see you again." He gives her a warm smile. "And so will Aunt Zelda, I know it."

Evie's mood suddenly changes and she scoffs. "Sure, as if." Then she stands up from her chair, giving Ambrose a quick hug. "I'll see you later."

"See you later, Cuz." He replies. She walks out of the house, enters the car and drives to town. Ambrose mentioned a bookstore and Evie was pretty sure she saw one along the way when she brought Sabrina to school. Driving through town, she quickly noticed the sign of the bookstore. After having parked her car further down the street, she walked back to the building.

Suddenly, she felt nervous. What if her aunt didn't want to see her? What if she was mad that Evie left without even saying goodbye?

She stopped right in front of the glass door, hand on the handle. Should she go in? There are other shops nearby where she could ask. No Aunt Hilda there.

Evie shakes her head. No, Ambrose said she'd be thrilled to see her and Evie trusts Ambrose. She takes a deep breath and enters the bookstore.

At first glance, she couldn't see her aunt. Evie walked through the bookshelves as she heard a familiar, cheery voice coming from the back of the store. She followed it, ending up at the bar in the back where a Frankenstein like person was preparing drinks. As she heard the woman talk again, she knew this was her aunt. There was a small line for the bar so Evie stood in line as well, making sure there was no one behind her because Satan knows how long the conversation would be.

When the person in front of her got their drinks, Evie stepped up to the counter where her aunt was still turned around, working on the machine.

"And what would you like to order, love?" The older woman says in a cheery voice, grabbing a paper cup and a pen.

"Oh, uh. Just a black coffee, no sugar." The girl answers, hoping her aunt will recognize her voice. Hilda hums in acknowledgement.

"And your name?" She asks, the tone of her voice is slightly different now.
