A/N

Hey everyone! Sorry that I'm a day late. I've had a super busy week and didn't have as much time to write. I could have posted last night, but I wasn't happy with where it was at. So, I worked on it today, and I'm happier with it now. Get prepared for lots of fluff featuring some angst. Hope y'all enjoy it!

Taehyun was back in his pack, pain taking over his body as everything came into vision. He was in the fighting ring, something his pack used to train all of their wolves, especially those that were in constant contact with surrounding packs. He was currently exhausted, body beaten as he looked at the wolf across from him.

The wolf looked unscathed, as if she was just toying around with the smaller wolf across from her. Taehyun was still growing, but after he looked promising to be an upcoming delta in the pack, the pack alpha decided to put him through rigorous training every day. He usually wasn't done training until he lost too much blood or passed out.

The one thing he learned while growing up in this pack was how brutal they were to their members to get the results they wanted. It wasn't unheard of to hear of people dying during training sessions or during missions, the pack alpha only caring about results rather than those risking their lives.

He was currently coughing up blood, gashes on his back and chest bleeding as well. There was blood all over the ground, his eyes having a hard time focusing due to the massive blood loss. He looked at his hands, his vision hazing as he struggled to keep his balance and stay upright.

"S-stop. I ... I can't ..." Taehyun couldn't finish his sentence before more blood was spilling out of his mouth, coughing as his breathing became raspy. When he looked over at the other woman, she only scoffed at him.

"You're weak. If you can't take it, you need to get stronger. Either that, or you'll be killed."

Even through her cold demeanor, Taehyun could tell that she didn't want to kill him. However, Taehyun knew that there were other powers at play, knowing that the pack alpha was the one putting him through this brutal training.

After a deep breath, he wiped away the remaining blood from his lips with his wrist, steadying his breathing before moving towards the woman. He could tell that he was about to black out, but he didn't want to give up just yet. Just as he was about to lunge, the woman easily moved behind Taehyun, putting the boy in a chokehold.

If breathing was difficult before, it was almost impossible now. Taehyun gripped her arm tightly, trying to loosen her grip so he could breathe. As if things couldn't get worse, she wrapped her other arm around Taehyun's waist. Taehyun knew he was about to be thrown to the ground, but he was too weak to get himself out of her grip.

"I'm sorry."

That was the last thing Taehyun heard from her before his vision went black.
