It's been about 4 months since I left the bts manor. Jungkook and Hobi are the only ones who message me. Things haven't been good over there, but not my problem. Things with Chris and the rest are great. No one out to get me, no one hurting me, no worries, no fights. We all get along. Well.... not everyone. Hyunjin and I don't. No worries though. Everything is great. A little too great. Kinda missing all the action, so I've been practicing on my magic and fighting with my brothers, Yeonjun and Sunghoon. Anyway, today is an award show, so pretty excited about that. It was a busy day today. I had gone to go get my nails done to go with the guys' theme. I think they came out gorgeous. Now the outfit is a banger. The guys cutely all came to me and asked me to be their date to the show. Christopher gave me these two beautiful ruby red butterfly hair pins with gold. "They're gorgeous, Christopher! Thank you!" I threw my arms around him in a big hug and kissed his cheek. "I'll wear them tonight." "Well I remembered you said you loved butterflies, and they'll go with our color scheme for tonight, so I thought about you wear them tonight before you thought. Ha!" "You're such a child." "Yeah, but you love this child." "Go, so I can get ready. You go get ready too. Make sure the others do too." "Yeah, I obviously know that. I'm the leader." "Yeah, okay, now go." I pushed him out of the room then closed the door behind him. I went to take a shower. I sat in there a little longer than intended. I was worried about seeing the guys again after 4 months, and see their state of being since apparently everything is bad over at the bts manor. "HEY! CAN YOU HURRY UP AND GET OUT! OTHER PEOPLE WANT HOT WATER TOO, YOU KNOW?!" Hyunjin came in yelling at me and it scared the crap out of me. "Dude! Wtf?!" "You're taking too goddamn long! Chan is too busy with the others to come tell you anything." He air quoted "too busy". "Fine. Give me my towel." "No. Get it yourself." "Fine." I walked out of the shower and tried reaching for it on my tippy toes, so I wouldn't get anywhere near him. And yep, you guessed it. I slipped and fell on top of him. "Ow." "Get off of me." I quickly got up and just walked into my closet and put on my black high waist shorts and a warrior like top that was very revealing. I put on long knee high boots. I went to do my make up. "You know we have people to do that for you, right?" "I like to do it by myself. You can leave my room now." "Tch whatever." He walked out of the room and slightly slammed the door. I did my eyes gold with black liner, and a bold bright red lip. I didn't wash my hair cause then it would of taken forever to dry, so I put it in a cute messy ponytail and put in the hair pins Chris gave me. I left my room and went down the long curvature hallway, I and made my way to the living room. Everyone was waiting on me.

"Ready!" "Wha! Wow!" They all exclaimed. "You look breathtaking, Y/n." Han said. "Aww thank you. You all look very handsome as well. Wait. Hold on. 1, 2, 3...5...7..... Where's my best friend?" "He went back to his room cause he forgot something." "Okay! I got it! I hope she-" He came out running and imitately stopped when he saw me. "What are you wearing? You're showing too much skin!" "This is coming from you. Huh, I'm surprised you're not showing off your body since you love to do that so much." "You! Ugh! I can't stand you sometimes! Cover up." "No. You're not my brother. You're my best friend. I'm sorry, my rekindled best friend. You don't get to tell me what I can and can't wear." "Well I still think you're showing too much..... Wait a minute. You're doing it because of them, aren't you? Typical. Typical you! You always go back to the dangerous ones." "How would you know? You left when we were still in elementary." "Don't think I didn't keep tabs on my best friend when I could." "You know, I really wish people would stop doing that. Stop looking into me. Finding things out about me." "We do these things because we care for you, and for your future." He said caressing my cheek. Which threw me off. "G-guys let's go. Han, Felix, Changbin, and Minho come with me." We took off and the rest followed in another vehicle. We pulled up to the red carpet. The crowd very stunned and questioning why I was with them. We got to the photo section. They took their group photo, then we took one together. Paparazzi throwing out questions left and right. "Why is she with you?" "Are you aware she belongs to bts before you guys?" "First of all, mind your own bbusiness. I don't belong to anyone, and second of all-!" "And second of all, she's my best friend. Haven't seen her in 20 years. I missed her." He stood behind me and threw his arms over me, resting his chin on my head, doing peace signs and probably smiling big. I turned my head cause I felt like someone was staring at me, and I was right. They all were staring at me. Namjoon, Yoongi, and Jungkook mad dogging me. Jimin, Hobi and Jin looked sad or bummed out. Taehyung had a stone cold face. Typical of him to not show emotions. I rolled my eyes. They started walking up while we were waiting for another group move. I had my back facing them. Wrong idea. Someone smacked my ass. I turned around to see Yoongi walking away smirking, and Taehyung right in front of me. "Oh! Ah. Hi...." "Hello, nice to see you again." He gave me a spanish greeting kiss, but when I turned my head, so he could get the other side our lips grazed each other. "Sorry. We don't want your new boy to get mad." "My what? He's my best friend Taehyung." I saw his face wince a little when I said his name. "Bye, Tae. Good luck to you guys. I'll see you later." "Goodbye, my queen." Hearing his soft low voice call me his queen again made me feel like I've been longing for it. I walked off with the others. "Are you okay?" "I'm fine." "Are you sure? You don't have to be here if it's too much for you." "I said I'm fine, Christopher. Let's just go in." I walked in before him, and met up with the others. Chan was in the back of the pack with Hyunjin and Seungmin. We got to our seats. The show begun. I went up twice. Once to announce Song of the Year to God's Menu by Stray Kids, and to announce the winner for Favorite Album of the Year to Map of the Soul: 7 by BTS. It was a little awkward, but we played it cool. We greet each other. I congratulated them, waited on the side for them to finish their speech, then we all walked off together. The photographer kinda forced us to take a picture with each other, and I gotta say you feel awkwardness seeping out of the photo. I left, and they went to take a photo with their award, and I looked back and they all seemed a little distant from each other. Tae had his back facing the others, Jin looked like he wanted to leave, only God knows what Yoongi and Namjoon were doing, Jungkook looked very pissed off, so did Jimin, and Hobi of course putting on that brave big fake smile. Something must've really happened. "Remember, Y/n. Not you. Not your problem." I thought to myself. Then walked away. I felt him walking behind me. I fought every part of me not to look back at him. Every part. "I still love you, Kim Taehyung. All of you guys. I'm sorry." I whispered knowing he was listening, and they could hear me. I walked to my seat and waited for the guys to finish their performance. I luckily showed up right before they started, so Chris can't bitch at me later for it. He's been irritating lately. Like if he's PMSing. They finished and I cheered for them. I waited for them to finish taking pictures. "Why weren't you here before?" Christopher asked me. "What do you mean? I watched your whole performance." "You got here right before we got on, so where were you?" "Chris, are you okay? You've been real moody lately." "Moody? What am I? A girl PMSing?" I rolled my eyes. "Seems like it lately." "Just forget it." He walked off. "What a moody butt." The guys won a few more awards, and then we left. We all went back to the house, but I had this feeling like I needed to be somewhere. "Hey, you guys want to go out and celebrate?" I hesitantly asked. "Yeah! Where?" "This one place I like to go." "Like a club?" Han asked excitedly. "Yeah." The guys cheered and went running to their rooms. Chris had already been in his room since we got home, so I decided to go talk to him. ** KNOCK KNOCK ** "Yeah?" "Hey, can I come in?" He opened the door with his arm up on the door way and the other on the handle. He was shirtless. His muscles glistened as water trickled down his six pack abs. I watched as the droplets fell and hit his towel that was the only thing he had on. "Can I help you?" "Ah. Well...." His body is distracting me. "Well....?" He mocked. "I came to see if you wanted to come out with us. I'm taking the guys out to celebrate." "Yeah, sure. Gotta keep my eye on everyone as the leader." "Yeah, of course. Only makes sense." I tried not looking at him, but my eyes kept traveling back to him. "Do you need anything else?" "Oh. Ah no." "So then? You're still here. You're still staring. Do you like what you see?" I blushed hard. "Stop. Don't joke around about things like that. Anyway, just get dressed." "Why don't you take a picture? It will last longer." "Oh really?" I took out my phone and took a picture. "Thanks. I'll cherish it forever." I joked. "Why have a picture when you can have the real thing?" I was looking at the photo when he said that, and I dropped my phone. "Don't-don't say things like that, Chan!" "What are you turning red for? You know I'm just joking. Things like that would never happen. It's ancient history." "Ancient history? What do you mean ancient history?! What, our relationship means nothing?" "Relationship? What relationship? You and I are just friends." "That's what I meant! A friendship is a form of relationship. Whatever. I'm not talking to you anymore. Get dressed, so we can leave." I tossed some nice fitted slacks, a satin charcoal gray button up and some nice dress shoes, then walked out. I went for the waiting room. A few minutes later he walked out. I turned around and waited for him. He looked so stylish. I couldn't help but smirk and bite my bottom lip. "You look good." Slipped out of my mouth. He stopped in his tracks. I guess he wasn't expecting me to be waiting for him. "Thanks." He said fixing his collar. "Can you-?" He started gesturing at his cuffs to roll them up. "Sure." I looked at his bare chest. I started rolling up his sleeves. He had his arm sticking out. His hand resting on my chest. I kept glancing at the necklace he was wearing. I lightly chuckled. "What? What are you laughing at?" "Nothing. It's just.... that chain. It reminds me of the one I gave you as a kid. The one that was too long for you to wear." "Yes, I remember that chain, and it is that chain." "What?" I quickly looked up at him. "How?" "I never got rid of it. After I moved I always wore it. You were and still are my best friend. I hoped for one day to see you again and be with you like we had planned and talked about. That's why I said ancient history, and it's okay. I wouldn't expect you to remember everything." "No, but I do. I remember it all. You left in second grade. We had sleepovers, hang outs. We used to hold hands and protected each other. You were my first kiss." "You were my first too. Duhh." "During P.E we went to a tree, sat under it and kissed just to give it a try. You said, 'A kiss to the one I love the most, my beloved best friend.' And I said, 'My beloved best friend for always, I love you the most too.' We were ridiculous back then. Life just has it's way of doing things, huh?" I smiled as I finished his other sleeve. "Now, come on. Let's go and enjoy your wins, hm? What do ya say?"
