You and Bruno walk down the hallway but he pauses at a huge vase filled with some of Isabellas red roses Bruno carefully picks one and aims it at you

"For you y/n" he said smiling

"Your so sweet Bruno" you say blushing taking it from his hand and putting it in your hair

Bruno blushes taking your hand and continues walking

You arrive in the main room where everyone was, loud salsa music was playing and people were dancing and taking shots. Abuela walked around greeting everyone as they step in

"Care to dance" he says looking over his shoulder at you

You giggle "Bruno... neither of us know how to dance"

"Yeah your right" he laughs walking to the tables to say hello to felix and Augustus

Abuela walks over to the two of you who were both wasted from drinks but you both tried your best to hide the embarrassing fact

"Hola mi poco Brunito" she says squeezing his face affectionately

"Mama..." he says embarrassed

Bruno was most definitely a mamas boy and the incident that happened a while ago where he stayed in the walls really killed him to be away from his mama and familia. You knew he was staying in the wall before mirabel found out that night because you had been bringing him food.

"Y/n..." she says eyeing you both back and forth 

"I am so happy for the two of you!!"
Her face shoots up with glee as she continues rambling which was really unusual for abuela. I guess she really was exited

"So... when's the wedding" she looks at Bruno then me

"Mama I haven't purposed yet." He says quietly fiddling with his ruana

Abuelas eyes widened

"Brunito how about you grab y/n something to drink"

Bruno looks at you then heads off to grab you both something to drink, getting distracted by drinking shots with his brothers in laws who probably talked him into it

in the mean time you were standing there akwardly with his mother. She always looked intimidating and you were scared of her a little bit

"Your a sweet girl, perfect for my little Brunito" she says giving you a reassuring smile

"Thank you abuela" you say returning her smile

"Please... call me mama" she says opening her arms gesturing you in for a hug.

Confused you step into her arms and hug her gently she smelt like expensive perfume and corn tortillas, the hug was nice acually and you were started to warm up to her finding that she's not as scary as you thought.

"Enjoy the party y/n" she says stepping away to greet more guests

Bruno looks over at the both of you holding two drinks, he carefully walks over wobbling and trying not to spill. He made a funny face while he tried to focus on his hands while bumping his brother in law Augustus
