that's how y/n felt. she loved dolores. she had to move on eventually though. being stuck on someone is terrible enough, be being stuck on a lifeless dead girl for ever was painful.
but y/n wasn't the only one going through pain. dolores, wherever she ended up, heard all of y/n's thoughts. she felt the feelings fading and there was nothing she could do about it. but she could only feel and hear her brain now, not her heart. and although it's hard to understand, the spark was still in both there hearts.
and that spark would wait around for the two souls to finally connect again. because people grow apart, soulmates stay together.
