"Attie! JB! I'm home! I have a surprise for you, Attie!" Jughead yelled, winking at Betty as they took off their coats and shoes, leaving Betty in her sundress and Jughead in his shirt and jeans.
"Daddy!" Atiicus yelled as he ran and jumped up to be carried by Jughead.
Jughead groaned as he picked him up, kissing his wet, freshly washed hair as he was snuggled in his navy and white striped pyjamas.
"Hey, bud, look I have a surprise for you." he whispered into his hair, kissing his cheek after.
"Betty!" he cried, happily, reaching his arms over to be carried by her.
Betty was shocked by his eagerness to be held by her.
"Hey, sweetie." she smiled, Jughead passing Atticus over to her.
Atticus buried his face into her neck, wrapping his arms around her, sleepily.
Betty cooed over his shoulder to Jughead. He smiled in return, rubbing his son's back as he gazed softly at Betty, being so good with his child.
"Hey, Jug." a soft voice spoke from behind them.
"JB, hi. This is Betty, Betty this is JB, my sister." Jughead smiled as Betty reached out with one hand, using the other to support Atticus as he clutched at her.
JB shook Betty's hand.
"It's nice to meet you, Betty. I've heard a lot about you from this little weasel." she tickled Atticus. "And from Atticus as well." she smirked.
"Ha ha, very funny." Jughead replied, dryly.
"How was the date?" JB asked.
"Amazing." Jughead smiled at Betty.
"It was lovely. The restaurant was beautiful and the view was incredible, right Juggie?" Betty replied.
"The view was definitely incredible from where I was sitting." Jug smirked.
Betty blushed gently as she rubbed Atticus' back. He pulled his head out of Betty's neck.
"Where did you guys go?" he asked, tiredly as he sat up, fiddling with Betty's curls.
"Your daddy took me out for dinner." Betty smiled, gently pushing a damp curl away from his face.
"Oh." Atticus yawned.
"Right. Time for bed, I think, kiddo, you look like you're gonna fall asleep any second." Jughead said, reaching to take Atticus back.
Atticus put his arms out and Betty passed him back.
"But, daddy, the clock hand isn't at 3 yet." he whined as they all moved through the house, Betty looking around in awe. He definitely had a lot of money.
"I'm sorry, Attie, but you're exhausted, Aunt JB has worn you out." he chuckled, holding his son close.
"And on that note, I'm heading off. See you soon Attie." she cooed as she collected her things.
"Love you, Jeeb." he murmured.
"Love you, kiddo." she whispered back.
"It was nice to meet you, Betty. Later loser!" she yelled as she shut the door behind her, leaving the three of them alone.
"Lunatic." Jughead muttered.
"She seems sweet." Betty smiled.
"She's great really."
"Will you be okay down here for a second? I've gotta put him down." Jug said.
"Sure." Betty nodded.
Jughead headed towards the stairs and glass bannister.
