It's been 3 months since Rengoku-san talked to their Master and accomplished the mission they tasked him to. It turns out that there's a demon behind those scene, but during those 3 months, Rengoku-san trained me all day.
"You're a fast learner Y/n!" I heard him shouted as our sparring continue. I mastered the Flame Breathing Technique within three months. Rengoku-san said it might be because I'm gifted and my father is a former Hashira who trains me when I'm young.
"You're so good." I heard him say after our sparring I can't help myself stop my cheeks getting red from the compliment of Rengoku-san.
"You're a good trainer, that's why I became like this Rengoku-san." I talked back, clearing my throat before drinking a water.
"I know you can pass the selection! No doubts." he said as he sat down and lean in the tree behind him while closing his eyes. I couldn't stop myself but to look at him with respect and awe. His personality, it is what a girl dreams of. And then his visual. It screams perfection.
"Is there something in my face?" I heard him talked breaking the fantasies I'm having.
"N-No! There's nothing wrong in your face." I replied nervously looking away with a red cheeks.
"The selection will be held tomorrow, I know you can do it, because you are you. It's fine to fail, but because of that, we learned in our mistakes and do better next time. Set you heart ablaze, my lo--." I heared him murmured the last word. But I didn't bother to ask him. I'm too nervous to think something other than the selection!
------Selection Exam Day------
I swiftly slashed my blade to the demon in front of me. The selection got finally started! I need to survive until this selection finished.
"Argujwih HELPP! HELP!!" I heared someone screaming at the west direction and tried to go for it. It turns out that the person will be killed within a second so I tried to slash it's hands to take away the screaming person. I took a deep breath to land a technique to the demon.
"Ichi no kata: Shiranui!" ( First Form; Unknowing fire!) landing multiple slashes, the demon got defeated. I guess I need to do thjs for 7 days huh.
"T-thank you so much!" I heard the person talked while crawling in the ground.
"Please don't thank me, I just did what it needs to be done, now please find a safe place if you can't continue this exam, I will taking my leave now. Excuse me." with that I tried to run to find more demons. I need to polish my breathing techniques!

It's been 6 days since the exams started, and there are strong demons that I encountered and they are the reason of my fatigue and bruises. Just 2 more hours and this exam will be finished. I plan on taking a rest at the huge tree when someone hold my two hands from the back.
"Fu fu fu! Look what we have here! A young woman!" I tried to look back who the hell is behind this and it turns out it's a three demon with the same faces. They just differs from their clothes.
"This girl is mine! I found her first! You little piece of shit!"
"No! I'm the eldest to that girl will be mine!" It looks like they are strong, not to mention their number!
"Let go of m--!" I stopped talking when someone helped me within a blink of an eye, the three demons got their head cut of already.
It's a young girl, maybe 2 years behind of my age. She looks beautiful, specially the butterfly pin in her hair.
"Thank y--!" I stopped talking when she run away from me.
"thank you..." thats when I noticed that the exam will be finally over within an hour so decided to go to the direction they gave us once the exam is nearly done.

There are two girls with a white hair announcing those who passed the exam and giving us some uniforms and assigning a crows for us. I finally made it!
I made it! I can finally be with Rengoku-san, I can spend more time with him!
Oh wait? What am I thinking?!
"Bad girl! Bad girl! You're no even listening to me! Khaw!Khaw!" I heard the crow talked and pulled my ear.
"Ow! Ow! Ow! It hurtssSsss!!" I shouted as I tried to shield myself from my crow.
"I'm saying that I'm your crow!" the crow stopped pulling my ear
"From now on I will be on yoyr side, I don't like weak! So be strong!" really? I don't know what to say anymore.

The selection is already done. Everything went so fast. I'm on my way to Rengoku Residence with my attitude crow when ai suddenly felt a presence behind my back. During the exam, I used it also as my training ground, and happily I think I got a bit better specially on a combat and when it comes on sensing something.
"Did u just felt that?" I asked my crow.
"Don't talk to me! You're beautiful! Ah no!--- you're weak!" I guess I'm the only one who sensed it.
Within few meters away, I saw a familiar silhouette waiting outside. It's Rengoku-san.
Within a blink of an eye, he's already in front of me. His eyes are twinkling, with happiness and relief. I can feel his warm body. I want to rest in his chest.....
With that I blacked out.
RENGOKU'S POV
I saw Y/n walking just a few meter away from our house and I can't help myself tear a bit. I'm happy because Y/n is alive, and happy because Y/n passed the exam. I dashed right through her and to my sudden surprise she passed out in my chest. She must've been tired.
I carried her in bridal style. Carefully.
You did well my love. Looking forward clearing some mission with you.
