It's been two weeks ever since Kyojuro left for a mission and that's when you started feeling nauseous.
"Y/n, I think you should go see a doctor." My best friend rubs my back as a throw up.
"No no no.. I'm fine."
"You're not. What if you have an illness? It's better to cure it early than to cure it when it's late." She raised her eyebrows at me.
"Fine. Since my schedule is vacant today."

My best friend is currently in my house to give me some pies when she saw me vomiting.
"I'm coming with you. Let's go right now."
"But I can go alo---" she hushed me with her forefinger.
"Shut up or I won't give you some pies anymore."

[At the Doctor's Clinic]
"Hm..I see. You're feeling Nauseous. We are going to take the Wheat and Barley Test." The old woman, which is the doctor spoke.
"The Wheat and Barley Test? Is she pregnant?!"
My best friend exclaimed.
"Based on the test that we have run, there are no complications in your health." The doctor explained it to me.
"Holy mother god! You're going to have a baby!" I heard my best friend shouting but I'm too focused on what the doctor's saying.
"You just need to pee in the wheat and barley, leave it for several days. If the wheat sprouted, you're having a baby girl. If the barley sprouted, you're having a baby boy. If neither, you're not pregnant." She gives the wheat and barley.
"Come back here after a few days."
I'm speechless. I'm pregnant?
"How can you say I'm pregnant?"
"I've been there before, people who were pregnant before will know if a woman is pregnant just by looking at them." She smiled.

"I'm...nervous." I looked at my best friend when we arrived at my house.
"I'm too dumb not to notice you're pregnant." She pouted.
"I need to take this test to know if I'm pregnant or not." I looked at the wheat and barley.
"You're nervous? Should I help you pee?" She laughed and left me to take the test.

After I did what the doctor said I left the wheat and barley in a cannot be reached place.
"I've done it. We just have to wait for several days to know.." I took a deep breath.
"When will Rengoku-san go home?"
"Next week."
"Then I'll get going. Take care. Ask for my presence if the result is already up." She hugged me and bid a goodbye.

One week has passed and the wheat is starting to sprout which means I'm going to have a girl.
To my surprise I immediately called my bestfriend, and within a minute she is already here.
"SooOoOo? A baby girl?"
"Yes." And I showed her the barley.
The woman jumps with happiness when we heard the door opened.
"Shh, don't say anything to him okay?" I whispered.
"Wait, what? Why?"
"Let's talk about it later."
As the footsteps get near to us, my heart beats faster due to excitement and nervousness.
"Y/n are you hom--- oh here you are." Kyojuro gives me a tight hug and gives a kiss in my forehead
"Oh, hi, you're here." He bows to my best friend to give respect.
"Oh I need to get going, I just visited Y/n to check her up." My bestfriend gives an excuse.
"Let me come with you. Kyojuro, I'll be back I just need to buy some 'things'". I gave him a peck kiss and rubs his hair.
"Hmm. Take care, both of you."

I took a deep sigh when we already in town.
"So? Why didn't you tell him?" She raised her eyebrows.
"Next week Monday is gonna be my birthday so I want to make it a surprise."
"Hm. Sounds good."
