After we came home, I shutted myself in my room and Rengoku-san had gone to our master to report the incident.
"But he said something after I became a demon. He said that you forgot the promise both of you made." I remembered wht my father just said. I'm not wrong. I will never be. The demon who helped me to come home when I was 6 years old.
"Kokushibo..." I said as I clench my fist. He is the reason why I lost my family.

It's been a week since my father turned into ashes, and I heard from Rengoku-san that Master gaved me a week to heal myself. I know what he meant. To heal my heart and mind.
"Rengoku-san?" I called him in the garden. He's training Senjuro.
"Hm? What is it Y/n" he replied as he faced me.
"I want to visit my home, I think I will be there until sunset." I said as I fix my katana and my uniform.
"Are you sure you're going there alone? Is it fine?" and now he looks worried.
"I can manage myself Rengoku-san, I just wanted to see my ancestral house. Besides, I'm strong so no need to worry sir." I winked at him and I saw him looked at the other direction with a embarrassed look.
"Bye! See you later!"

"Aaaahh!" I sighed as I opened the door of our old house.
"I'm home." I said as the tears streamed down to my face.
"E-everyone, I'm home again.." I can't help but to shed some tears again and I'm the only one who's left. I couldn't help myself but to miss them.
I cleaned our house, water the plants, and cooked a lunch for me.
After I finished eating my lunch, I straighted to my old room to have a nap.
It's nice being home again huh.
"Y/n? Y/n! Wake up!" I heard my brother's voice waking me up so I got up faster than a bullet to realize it was a dream.
I got up to see what time is it and it's already 5 pm. I need to go home.
Before I leave the house, I locked all the windows, and the doors and put some light in front of our door.
"I'm going home..to my new house, to my new family. Goodbye!" I said as I turned my back at our house.

"Finally, I see you again." it spoked behind me, it's him.
I faced him and my blood boiled when I felt that he is strong. Strong enough to kill a 50 demon slayer within a minute.
"Did you forgot our promise?" he asked with his cold tone.
"You..you are the reason why my family..my family died!" I shouted as I charged at him. The anger already take over my mind.
"Ni no kata; Nobori En ten!(flame breathing technique, second form; rising scorching sun!)" I shouted as I released an arching sword slash upward.
He dodged it. He's fast.
"A flame breather huh, that makes me more eager to make you mine." He said. Did he just said 'mine?'
