Nothing but bliss. There was no where else I would rather be in the world other than by Jinx's side causing chaos.

" Do you think we can stay like this forever?" I asked her looking up at her. Jinx looked down at me and smiled before kissing my forehead. Her arms were wrapped around me as we both laid entangled underneath bed sheets. "Whatever you want." She whispered and pulled me closer. "You're mine, forever." She told me. I looked up at her eyes and then her lips. They taste so sweet and I just can't get enough.

Evil

A little voice in my head said. I froze and she noticed this. "You don't wanna be mine forever?" She asked shuffling around. I didn't say anything because I was too busy trying to figure out what the little voice was. "That's not what I said." I told her but it was too late. Jinx had already pulled away and was putting her shoes on. "No, I was trying to- Jinx!" I called out for her as she walked to the door. "Jinx come back!" I called out again as she ignored me. "If you don't want to be with me anymore then just be honest." I was at loss for words as she left.

Do you?

The question the voice asked lingered in my head. I don't know if I did. My feelings from before I lost my memories remain but I don't know anything about her or myself. I don't know who I am or who I stand for but there's something calling me. It was a feeling I have never felt before. It did not have anything to do with Jinx but instead what I was meant to do.

After ten minutes i finally got up from the bed. I walked across the hall expecting to see Jinx talking to Silco but he was just sitting by himself reading a clipboard. "Where did Jinx go?" I asked. "Whatever you did to upset her- leave her be. She wants to be alone." He told me as his eyes remained on the clipboard. " I need to talk to her. It's about my old self." I told him. His eyes flickered off the clipboard and onto mine. He got up and walked around his desk to me. He closed the door before pointing at the couch.

"Sit."

I obliged and waited for what he was going to say. "I hated you."He states. My heart skipped a beat and the tension was thick. "You would always bring the good out in her when I needed the bad. You would sway every decision she made. She loves you and is willing to go to war with anyone for you." Silco admitted as he sat back down on his chair. "I hate what she did to me." I told him. "She caused an explosion when I told her not to. She wanted to save her sister and hurt me in the process but the second time? She was being stupid and hurt me. I hate not remembering anything about myself . I don't know what my favorite food was or anything about myself. She took it all away and I want to hate her for it but I...can't. I can never hate her. The day she took my memory away...something filled the void. Something evil." I told him while looking into his eyes for guidance. "There was something about her prototype crystals that affected my brain. I know they did. I can feel it." I told him. He just listened. "I can ask the doctor to take a look at you." He offered. "Singed? He will make a lab rat out of me."

"If not I suggest let the old you die and the new you sprout and flourish."

His answer wasn't enough. Nothing will ever be enough.

"I'll think about it." I told him before leaving. I love Jinx and I can never hate her or leave her. Vi already left her and if she lost someone else it would drive her insane but I will never leave her.

I walked back to her place where she likes to invent stuff. It was my best guess as to where she was and I was correct. My eyes lingered on her figure as she sat on the ledge. She flipped through a book as she had a pen in her mouth.

"Boring. Boring- wow super boring! Here we go. Okay it's all about these runes." She sat up and looked at the machine in front of her. Jinx now sat in a criss cross position and that's when I made my presence known. I cleared my throat and I stayed behind her as she read the book. "They form some kind of math-y, magic-y, gateway. To the realm of heebie-jeebies." I looked at her but noticed she wasn't talking to me. My eyes flickered to the stuffed animals she had- they were of Claggor and Mylo.

I remember now. She is haunted by their deaths that she has voices in her head. They got worse by the amounts of shimmer she took and they control her.

"So...here goes." Jinx placed the stone on and her hand moved to the switch. "Jinx wait!" It was too late. She was thrown back by the explosion and I immediately went to her side while fighting the force. Once it calmed down she ran to my side and hugged me. "No, it was a mistake! It was a mistake." She told me while hiding her face in my chest.

I didn't need to ask her to know she was thinking of when she killed Claggor and Mylo. My eyes lingered on the crackling noise from a toy bunny that fell from an unopened box she had. "Come on." I mumbled to her as I hugged her and looked at my fingers. The same blue electricity  crackled and I felt full of energy.
