cassie's eyes were glued and spaced out to the monotone ceiling as she laid on her bed with their white fluffy cat snuggled up on her side presumably sleeping as it purred softly.

her brain felt as though empty of thoughts but she still wasn't focused on the reality in her surroundings.

the voices from downstairs of her parents but mostly her mother yelling at her probably drunk father came on her room muffled, she couldn't make out the exact words and pronounce just the sound of irritated words.

but she didn't want to make out the words and sentences, anyways.

she just wanted it all to stop, her father to stop drinking and her mother to stop screaming at him for it.

but even though she was just thirteen she knew her father would never change.

what a pathetic fucking coward.

a/n: this book isn't going to have an exact storyline, maybe in the future? but not for now tho. i wrote these in the notes a long time ago because of my hyper fixation on twf so they are very random and aren't really going to be perfect or well written, but i felt like sharing them cause why not.
thank you for reading <3
